No, I had to put a bolt at the bottom to make it more sturdy. I towed my harley 998 miles, when you turn, the bike would lean left or right but as soon as you go straight the bike would straightened up. It wouldn't swivel on reverse. So if you are towing your bike and need to stop. Make sure you part in a way that you can leave forward. I hope that answers your question

the handle on the side will bring the wheel base down, once you load the bike, push the handle down and it will lift it off the ground. It will come with a pin so it doesn't go back down while towing
