These are aftermarket parts, they are cheap. Replacing actuators are fairly easy.Before mounting three screws around the latch, pls only mount the screw on the door panel side at beginning. pls open the door and close the door for several times, the first-time of closing door is not smooth, it would be very smooth for the third time, then mount the three screws around the latch. Adjustment to the position of actuator is very slight but it really can promote user's experience.

There has an arm that attaches to this. It is impossible to remove and transfer from the damaged device. Even if it were sold separately, it's impossible to attach. I hate to admit that I think that the dealer is the only way to go on this one. Just make sure it comes with an attached arm.

I liked the price on it. It works fine. It may possibly be manufactured slightly off fit. After I installed it, it seems to not line up just right, but it fits. So either the fit or the mechanism seems less gentle that OEM. It was a pain installing on my 2011 Honda CRV, just really tight space in that door for hooking the latch to. I also had to buy a $40 impact driver and was lucky to get the original screws out without having to drill them out. Not what I thought I’d get myself into. The OEM door locks on my CRV have been kind of junk. I replaced the hatch and a rear door latch already on top of this one for the drivers side.

Good item as described. Works well. Relatively easy to install. Be aware that the 3 original Honda installed bolts at the latch have blue loctite and a heat gun may be needed to loosen them (as always, be carefull of the painted surfaces).

No tube mayor problema al instalarlo, sin embargo ya en la practica se siente raro al abrir la puerta. Queda una sensacion muy fragil al abrirla, se siente como si fuera de juguete o se fuese a romper. Sin embargo hoy tras 6 mese de uso, jala perfecto.
