Keeps my dog busy
This is the third puzzle toy I've bought for my dog. It has been less than week and it takes him 15+ minutes to just complete the outside of the puzzle. He hasn't figured the dial part yet and I would help him with that. It keeps him busy and I know we'll get good use out of it. He does manage to pull the sliding panels off when he tries to carry the puzzle to a different location. And it's not chew proof, so you do need to make sure they don't chew on it. This is the first puzzle I've gotten that's kept my dog engaged for so long. The first puzzle was a plush puzzle that he manages to now complete in a couple of minutes and has chewed through the felt on some. The second was a smaller, cheaper version of moving the dial and sliding a cover but he was able to jostle it around and completes that in under 5 minutes. This one is nice and sturdy compared to those two, and more challenging.

Overall this is good challenge for your dog
This is the first interactive puzzle toy that our young dog didn't totally figure out right away. The video is of her first go at it. She does get how to move the squares around now and we can put a treat clear on the other side and as soon as she sniffs it out she will start moving pieces to get to it. The top round area with the knobs that have to line up to the "U" groove takes her a bit more time. She moves it and will paw at it and by chance only will she get the treat. She is still working on the correlation for that piece of it. This by far has been the most challenging one for her yet. This is not as sturdy as the Nina Ottosson by Outward Hound Hide N' Slide Puzzle Game Dog Toy that we bought earlier. I would not leave this on the ground without supervising your dog. As you can tell she was biting at first to get them moved and I feel like they could very well come pop out with enough force and be chewed on. The top part is harder for that to happen with. Overall this is good challenge for your dog if they have mastered all others. My recommendation would be to start with a less challenging one and work up to this one as they could very easily become frustrated and just want to chew it up. Overall a great way to keep her active mind busy and entertain us as well.

Not for every dog! Not the stubborn ones :)
Interest concept and I think some dogs would enjoy it, however my 10 year old American bulldog gave up after a few minutes and became completely disinterested in this:( he only enjoys the super easy puzzles. It was also way bigger than I expected which was nice but also takes up a lot of room. Definitely chew resistant and makes no noise :)

Bad design flaws
I would NOT recommend this game. It has huge structural design flaws. I have a very smart GSD, Sophie, who has mastered the easier games, but this one would frustrate a 5 year old child. First, there should be more open spaces to move the sliders around on. There is only 1. One on each side would be better. To get to the treat on the other side of the board, Sophie has to push all the empty ones all the way around, out of the way. There are 5 sliders on each side! Thats a lot of empty sliders to move out of the way! And even worse, the sliders often get jammed. The corner sliders get stuck and then nothing moves. And then Sophie gets frustrated and starts to scrape and bite it. I don’t know how to remedy that issue. The second issue is the locking mechanisms. They get easily and accidentally pushed into the lock position. They should either stay locked or unlocked. Loosely sliding around just causes more frustration. I taped them down so they can’t move freely. The third thing is most of the spaces under the sliders are limited to one space, which is fine. The treat stays in one space. Other spaces have one barrier missing so the treat slides back and forth under 2 sliders. Sophie pushes the slider, tries to grab the treat, and the treat gets pushed under the slide next to it with her giant tongue. Then she pushes the other slider and the treat gets pushed back under the first slider with her giant tongue. More frustration. The treat should be confined to only one space. The fourth thing is that the moving yellow circle in the middle with one spot open should be removable so the red sliders could move back and forth in a groove, and not fall out. The yellow cover does come off but then the red sliders are loose and fly off the board with one big lick. They should stay locked in a groove. This would be a good way to slowly learn how to move the red sliders before figuring out how to rotate the circle so only one red slider will move at a time. Which I also find a bit ridiculous. The bottom line is that this game causes too much frustration, even for a smart dog. Even I got mad! This game would be a good challenge without causing such frustration if the above conditions were changed. I would NOT recommend it. I might return it covered in slobber. Plus, there are no instructions. I had to ask Ai for help. I’m giving it 3 stars because most people read the 3 star reviews. 1 and 2 star reviews are mostly about delivery and damage issues. This game did come late, and we had to leave for vacation, and it sat on my steps until one of my nice neighbors saw it and rescued it. But it wasn’t damaged...

Poor construction. Do not leave dog unsupervised.
I want to love this product, as the puzzle mechanics are well designed but the construction of the puzzle is not great. Pieces can be removed without much effort from a strong dog. I have a small, 20 pound dog who was able to rip off the center piece and multiple locks within his first 20 minutes of using the puzzle. Thankfully, the pieces aren’t broken and we caught the dog before he could chew and try to swallow. We’ve reattached the center piece and it seems to have stayed in place, but the circle sticks do get pushed under and stuck occasionally. We thought our dog had eaten one before we realized it was shoved under the dome. We decided to permanently remove the locks, as they could be removed somewhat easily. A bigger dog that has strong teeth would chew through this very fast. We have another puzzle from a different maker that is much sturdier and we don’t have to watch our dog play with it.

Great for Smart Bored Cats
I have to find the top level interactive toys for my cat because he is so smart. This one works great, it takes him a while to make it all the way around the board. Most of his interactive food toys he can clean out in 10 minutes or less. Because of the amount of pressure needed to move the center piece around he hasn’t gotten into that part yet. I also don’t use the snaps because they are very hard to push, probably OK for a bigger dog. But you don’t have to use any of that stuff you can just keep it simple and use the border. He loves it. We’ve had it a while and it has held up very well. It will slide around so I usually keep it in a corner.

My cat is now an evil genius
My one year old cat is always causing trouble and he’s very stubborn especially when treats are involved. He easily mastered the catmazing treat boxes so I wanted to stump him and keep him busy for a while. This toy seemed like the perfect foil and we set it up with the most difficult configuration. Alas, he figured it out in a few hours and now he’s a pro. It still takes him a bit to get everything open but he likes to unlock it and then eat a few treats at a time. He does enjoy it and it was definitely worth the money. I feel bad for our other cat who isn’t very smart since he just watches longingly while Ozzy eats treats. If you have a dog that destroys toys, I don’t think it will hold up to chewing. It’s meant to be pawed/nosed at. If you have a cat that needs a challenge, I’d definitely recommend this toy.

Gd quality toy/ feeder!
Got this when my pup was abt 7-8mths old. He figured it out quite fast and is still enjoying it one mth later. We put his lunch kibble in it so it’s more fun for him and he can’t gobble up his food too fast!

Puzzelen
Wil je je hond uitdagen om na te denken om aan eten te komen, dan is deze puzzel een mooie uitdaging. Ook geschikt voor honden die te snel hun voer opeten.
