Kipling Darcey Solid Small Wheeled Luggage, One Size

Love the color, the quality is excellent, and the price was great. I wanted a carry on that I could fit a week's worth of summer-weight clothing into, and this works perfectly. I'm small, so my clothes are small, but I fit 4 dresses, 3 pairs of pants, 4 shirts, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 sets of workout clothes, socks and undies for a week, as well as my quart sized bag of travel liquids... 2 sets of pjs too, and really I could fit a few more items in. This will be a great size for shorter trips in colder weather, too--won't fit quite as many bulky items of course. It's the same size as most carry on suitcases, but has the advantage of being soft sided on the front side, so it can squeeze in where other bags might not be able to. Truly though, it was the vivid purple color that made me need this bag. I love it :)

This is the best luggage for lightweight, durability, zipper quality, wheels....just everything! We have had Kipling luggage since our honeymoon in 1996. Those bags are still in use and look great even though they are so old! The only reason we have purchased more bags over the years is add them for our 3 kids. We have the color True Blue and I am very pleased that I have been able to purchase that color reliably over the years. The quality and durability of the fabric, wheels and zippers on these bags is what makes me so loyal to the brand. I've NEVER had a problem with any of the now 6 pieces we own (including a diaper bag from way back when that we simply abused). The fact that they are so lightweight turns out to be a bonus now that the airlines are weighing bags and have set weight limits.

LOVE, LOVE, this bag!! I was traveling to Europe with my family, including a 6-year old, and knew that she needed something light and easy to pull for lugging it through airports and streets of Rome and Venice, etc. It is the lightest-weight suitcase I have ever seen, yet holds tons!! When we checked in at one airport, it weighed about 8 pounds, fully packed. And it fits in EVERY carry-on airline, including EasyJet in Europe, which (in case you haven't seen) is crazy-strict about the size of their luggage and will charge an arm and a leg for checking bags. My husband has this luggage in navy, and we all agreed the next Europe (or other long) trip, we are going to buy this luggage for the whole family. Oh, the purple color and cute gorilla fit perfectly for my little girl. LOVE it!

I recently purchased the Kipling Darcey S Wheeled Luggage in Blue Jay for a dear friend who graduated from college; I wanted her to travel the world in style so I bought her the best. Three years ago, I bought this same carry-on bag for myself. It falls within Delta's allowed guidelines and fits perfectly under the seat. It's a quality product with a couple of outer pockets perfect for storing a laptop, magazine or ipad, rechargable battery for electronics, toothbrush, etc. If you're a light packer, this could hold everything - no more disassociation from your luggage.The fabric is good quality but I wouldn't recommend checking it, particularly on overseas flights. Some baggage handlers have no respect. The wheels are of good quality and the handle locks in 2 positions - one to roll beside you, the other to pull behind you. I love the flexability of a soft-shell and have been known to pack-to-the-max. The zippers seem to be of good quality; I've never had a problem squeezing in that last pair of jeans. There are two hidden lightweight rods under the fabric of the backside that give the case balance and stability. I also purchased a matching Kipling Sherpa bag for toiletries; it has a side pocket that slides down the handle of the wheeled luggage so I am able to wheel both bags with one hand. I would like to have a full set of Kipling baggage but I feel the large bags wouldn't fare well going in and out of the belly of the plane. I've traveled with this twice now - once on a 4 day domestic trip and once on a 12-day trip to Europe as my only suitcase. This is the best carry-on bag EVER! I love that it is very lightweight, yet the nylon is very durable and I could pack an amazing amount of stuff in this seemingly little bag. The spinners are also very smooth and quiet as they are rubber and not cheap-o plastic. The outside pockets are great and were a must for me. The only possible downside is that there are no pockets or organizers inside the bag, but after almost 2-weeks of living out of this thing, I didn't feel like I needed any. Would buy this again 100-times over!

I bought this carry on size bag for an upcoming trip to Europe. I own a large Kipling wheeled duffle, but wanted to pack lighter. I can get everything in this bag. Kipling makes durable and very lightweight luggage. I love the wheels that allow it to roll with ease, but it's light enough for me to easily carry the fully packed bag. The bright pink color is fun and easy to spot on the luggage carousel.

It's just too smallI like most aspects of this bag. The wheels roll smoothly and it handles well. I like the color and fabric. But with the 4 wheels at the bottom, and no expansion, it just does not have as much capacity as other carry on bags. So it's great for an overnight, or weekend, but nothing more.

This is ideal luggage for light travel. Because of it's small size I would not recommend using this if you'll be on the road for more than 5 days. I pack sparingly and for a six day trip I had to also bring along a backpack. I already own Kipling luggage and can say they're extremely well made. The rotating wheels make this the easiest thing you'll ever have to hurry through the airport with. For airline stowaway cabins this is perfect, unlike the monsters I see people struggling when when they get on board airplanes. Gotta love the little monkey.
