Great game changers
These are so useful, I’ve been a plumber for 30+ years and these back plate elbows make plumbing in an external Douche much faster and easier. Or any random shower valve.

external shower fitting made easy
Almost all showers these days are designed with internal wall mounting in mind (pipes inside the wall) which is all well and good but its not always possible and can be allot of work when it isn't necessary. These fittings let you mount a standard shower onto the wall rather than into it. There are other versions of this sort of fitting, triton make a nice one, but they all seem to be at least £50 a pair, where as these are far cheaper and 70% as nice. They are just as effective but not as pretty. it has exposed screws which are not included. These would be perfect for an outdoor shower, or a simple shower in a commercial setting. if your going to invest in chrome piping and showing off your hardware then you probably have to spend some more money on a prettier version of these.

Check which Seller you are buying from
Unfortunately, with this item, it depends which seller you buy it from. I I have ordered this twice previously and then the third time it came from a different seller and as many of the most recent reviews have noted it doesn’t come with any nuts or olives. And they that’s not the main issue, even if you use your own nuts and olives you cannot create a satisfactory seal as the poor quality item sent out can’t be used with nuts & olives due to the connection having a flat edge rather than being tapered to suit an olive and nut. The item sent out by the seller is also poor quality, the previous two items were a very nice shiny chrome finish and a thick material and the cheaper one sent out this time.

Great for use with surface mounted chrome pipework.
After having our venerable boiler replaced with a combi I decided to change our electric shower for a mixer bar. These adapters allowed me to use surface mounted chrome pipework as I did not want to refit the whole bathroom at this time. They work very well and are very competitively priced. Recommended.
