Seemingly Solid
I can tell you off the bat, these shoes are not for hard skating. That being said, they're an adequate shoe for cruising around, riding your bike, or just going out for that evening lurk sesh. as for the fit and feel, there's a bit of padding in the heel that keeps them comfy and the vulcanized sole means they'll be flexible right out of the box. If you take a quick glance you'll notice that there's minimal stitching on the shoe, particularly in abrasive areas where one would generally do flip tricks. Again, these aren't for serious skating, although the amenities you would typically find on a skate shoe make them quite comfortable for just walking around or cruising between classes. The quality seems to be on point as well. The eyelets are well done, and the finish on the metal is quite clean. The waxed leather laces come standard, and that same dried bovine quality extends to the labeling on the tongue. I would note, however, that the colorway is slightly darker than pictured for the blue pair I received. Where as in the picture they appear to be a royal blue, they're actually more of a muted navy. The color wouldn't seem amiss if you were to find yourself strolling through a seaside village, and in fact the shade closely resembles a somewhat overcast harbor.I've read a few reviews elsewhere, and many people make note of these shoes being about a half size or a size too small. I wear a size ten for my Reebok running shoes, a size ten all across the Emerica brand, as well as any other shoe that finds itself on my feet. I found the size 10 I received to fit absolutely perfectly, and I imagine they will stretch a bit to the point of being even more comfortable.I took a single star off because like I said, these shoes aren't going to hold up to any form of rigorous skating. If you're looking for just a casual shoe though, I'd say a solid five stars. I've been on a bit of a hiatus from Circa, although these have brought me back to the cause and prove that Circa continues to be one of the best values in skateboarding.

Look great, didnt wear so well
Even though my headline and rating might be contradictory, i did enjoy these shoes.I bought them for vacation, on which i was gone for 3 weeks and did a lot of walking in hot weather (at least 5 miles some days). The shoes held up as far as not coming apart, however, eventually, they had sweat stains that i have not been able to get out.I believe though, with normal usage, they would hold up a lot longer and look nicer. Definitely would buy again.*Very simple design and support similar to a converse all star, (no support)

good shoes to just slip on and not care about
The souls get warn out quickly and there really is no support on the shoes. i would compare them to convers ( case of flat foot if use for long periods of time ) . good shoes to just slip on and not care about.

Liked the way they looked
These sneakers fit well and they looked great. I am not a skater, but my brothers were so I know a little thing or two about skater shoes. I definitely wouldn't recommend these shoes to skate in, although they are pretty light. But I think they just go better as the casual walk around shoe.

Great shoes, 1 size too small
I don't review often, but I wanted to confirm that these shoes are 1/2 size to small. I am usually a 9.5 and I decided to listen to other reviewers who said these run small...I purchased a size 10 pair. They were completely right. These are tight fitting and very low profile. I wear skinnier jeans and you can see your socks on the sides. Very stylish. The black pair is darker than the picture.

My son likes them.
These shoes were reasonably priced (I bought them on sale), and seem to be of a good quality so far. In two months time, I will have a better indication of how durable they are as my son wears them all the time. He likes them, so as long as they hold up for at least 6 months, I will like them too.

Looks good, but two issues
I like these shoes except for two things.(1) Smaller than other shoes of same size(2) Shoe laces -which are really cool - started to fray within a week.
