Would recommend
Makes some little odd noises when its winding but plays completely clear and gets as loud as your system can go, works great, holds charge forever and is super cheap, saved me from having to put in a new radio.

A good alternative to replacing your car stereo
This adapter works very well for streaming music into my factory car stereo, which I’d rather not replace since it sounds and looks good. The battery lasts a long time and it pairs effortlessly with my phone. However, there are a few minor annoyances that come with it. The gears inside are a bit noisy. There are several YouTube videos showing possible fixes. Ultimately, I put a light coating of petroleum jelly on all of the gears and it quieted them down to an acceptable level. Also, while the sound quality is good, it seems to be a little heavy on treble, and light on bass. I simply adjust the EQ on the stereo to the sound I want. Not a deal breaker for me at all. Overall, I would recommend this cassette adapter to anyone looking to bring their tape deck into the modern era of streaming. For the price it can’t be beat.

Amazing bluetooth!
Absolutely amazing! I didnt know they made them Bluetooth and it works amazing! Not sure how long battery is supposed to last, I drove 2 12 hour days before charging it. It wasnt dead just figured it would need it for the next day! Great value for what you pay, love the fact that its super portable and durable!

Better than FM transmitters !!
I have a 2002 honda that has the older stereos, there are no aux cords and so I’ve had to come up with an alternative solution to listening to music via bluetooth. I have tried fm transmitters before which work, but this is way better by far. The sound is more crisp, louder, and although you need to charge it, it lasts really long on a full charge. I’ve had it about a month now and I can say for the time I’ve had it, it lasted me longer than i expected. Especially for the price, it is definitely worth it.

Worked great for a while, now will not hold a charge and skips often and pretty bad. It’s unusable at this point.

Coming in HOT
First off I want to say that this is a very cool product that helps solve the lack of Bluetooth for older cars. If you’re looking for a short answer, Yes it’s pretty good, and I recommend it.I have been using a 12v powered FM transmitter (with dual USB ports) with pleasant results for the past year. However when I travel, especially to larger cities, keeping a clear interference free signal can be an issue. So when I had a recent trip from Indianapolis to Chicago, I decided to give this a try. After fully charging, I took it to the car for a test run. My first impression wasn’t so good. There’s really nothing that can be done about the mechanical “hum” of a cassette player with this, there’s just not. However with some manual reading and some tweaking, I became more okay with the sound and levels.Initially there was a lot of hum/ buzz, zero bass and mids, and EXCESSIVELY hot treble. This was pretty much the opposite sound of the FM transmitter. Once you realize that your phone volume should be no more than 40-50% you will notice a big drop in the hum/buzz. So you’ll be using the volume more on the head unit. Again, this is the opposite of what I was used to. From there it was a matter of increasing the mid setting to near max, and the bass to nearly 3/4 setting. Then most importantly, taking the treble WAY down. This resulted in the best sound quality for me. It’s still a bit lacking in the mid and mid bass, but it is very good and can also get quite loud. But the most important thing is do not crank up your phones Bluetooth volume output beyond 50% max. If you do the sound is so distorted and “hot” that it’s unbearable.Once dialed in I was very happy with the purchase for the price. Battery life has been pretty good so far, although I did voluntarily charge it after the trip of about 3.5hrs of constant use so I can’t vouch for the longevity. It would be great to be able to charge while using, but it’s a small battery so doesn’t take long to charge.
