I did have to do it twice because the first time I didn’t stir constantly for the half hour and there were some spots they were lighter than others so I did it a second time for an additional 15 minutes and it turned out more uniform after. Both of these dresses were white and I love how they came out a shade or two different with the one on the right having 15 extra minutes in the dye vs the other one. The stitches didn’t absorb any dye though so they stayed white but it still looks cute. No problems with washing either, but I did use the color stay afterwards too.
