A product review here on Amazon convinced me to buy this. Someone had reviewed one of the group listings that included the Jeep, and the review stated that he liked the Jeep the best. He included a picture that had like five of these Jeeps assembled. I figured if someone liked it that much, it was worth a purchase. Literally, the only complaint I have is that a lot of glue was required. And I do mean a lot. My advice for anyone assembling one of these kits for the first time is to make sure you have wood glue on hand. Oh, and don't start with this kit. It was rated 4/5 on the difficulty scale. There were quite a few pieces that were difficult to line up, and there aren't very many good places to anchor your hands when you get further along in assembly. I stained the kit, and it took me about a week to complete it. The product listing says about 4-5 hours for assembly time. Without staining, I still would have had to wait for the glue to dry. I don't think I get this one done in a day. So it was a good value at about $25. I might end up purchasing this one again down the road.

Some of the pieces are EXTREMELY fragile and break very easily. These flexible pieces broke well before i could place them, other pieces broke just pulling them from the parts sheets. I love the level of intricacy and the difficulty level is fine, but i think that they need to refine the design to make the pieces less fragile. Also, this is NOT an authentic Willy’s Jeep model. Willy’s Jeeps in WWII did not look like this, and the most inaccurate piece is the AK-47. Not only did our boys NOT carry AK-47s in the war, the AK is a RUSSIAN weapon that was not designed until late 1947 & produced starting in 1948. I REALLY wanted to like this model, but the the inaccuracies & fragility if the pieces really reduced the appeal, & I ended up throwing it in the trash half finished. If they redesign it, fix the inaccuracies and strengthen the design of the individual pieces, i might try this again. But I recommend staying away from this particular design.

This was my 2nd ROKR model. Very detailed. Important to use paraffin wax to lubricate every delicate connection. Would recommend you purchase this wax in advance before assembling any ROKR wooden model. Make sure you totally understand visual instruction before proceeding. I did use wood glue to secure some connections and you will know when this necessary. Take your time and enjoy the moment of doing it right the first time; you do not want to deconstruct a mistake to correct. A nice feature of ROKR models...a few but important spare parts are included in the event you break one....and you will. Not a 5 star rating, and 4 is not adequate...4.7 is more accurate.

Fun to construct

Absolutely love these puzzles. I wish they weren't so pricey, or I'd buy every single model. These are my stress relief. The right balance of dexterity, problem-solving and patience.

Pieces are very small, and easy to break, Very time consuming, Instructions are very difficult to read. YOU Will Need Super glue to fix broken pieces and hold pieces together. Recommended sequence leaves a lot to be desired. Makes a cute jeep, if you have a LOT of time and patience.

Beautiful and very detailed final output. Had hours of fun assembling. Very good instructions

This was a gift for my husband. He enjoyed putting it together and the finished product is great! It took him 2.5 hours. The parts are laser cut and numbered ,and the instructions are clear. There are spares from many of the parts. The details on the car are next to none!

Les instructions sont claires et intuitives, certaines pièces sont plus fragiles mais ceux-ci viennent en plusieurs exemplaires donc ce n’est pas grave de faire des erreurs. Le résultat final est impressionnant

Some parts get easily damage especially when you need to bend or in curve.

I assembled it and found it a bit tricky to assemble as it took some figuring out in which direction a part is supposed to go in. Two of the bending parts broke while figuring how they fit but was able to fix. Overall, pretty good product and looks very nice. Would recommend anytime.
