This little blanket is so soft. It would be a lovely blanket for a newborn. It's a bit small, so it you want a blanket for a baby older than say, 3 months, choose a bigger size.Please don't laugh, I bought this blanket for my cat's bed, and he loves it, he snuggles down in it every day - he's a spoiled kitty LOL .

We initially loved this blanket. My 20 month old toddler loved the softness and warmth and slept with it nightly for a month.All was great until one morning when I awoke to her frantic cries. When I checked on her, I found threads from the blanket had wrapped around her throat. She was lying still in the bed. I was able to cut them away. She was OK, but she was shaken up and red marks were left around her neck for several minutes after this. I shudder to think of what would have happened if she had panicked and pulled at the blanket causing the strings to tighten.The poor construction is a hazard and this blanket should be kept away from toddlers.

We adopted an older mini dachshund and she gets cold with the a.c. on. My husband had been wrapping her in an old flannel shirt when she slept on his lap but I thought a baby receiving blanket would be just right for this. I didn't care for the colors of the baby blankets available until I found this blanket. It came in colors that wouldn't embarrass my husband since she likes his lap best. I got the small size and it is just the right size to cover her while she is sleeping. When I took it out of the package she immediately started to slink onto it as if she knew it was for her. Lol I also bought a shoulder bag for her to go on walks with my husband. She starts whining the moment he leaves but if he takes her he has to carry her because she stops walking in less than a block. One of the carrier suggestions was to put a small blanket in the bottom of the bag of it seems too big. With her short legs the carrier was too deep so the blanket went in and she could see out just fine. I would definitely recommend this blanket for a great baby gift. It comes in so many colors it would be easy to find one that goes with the nursery colors. I got red to match our dogs new bag. It has dotted texture and looks and feels great. I think the 40'x60' would make a great throw for a couch. Too bad there isn't a 40x40 size as it would make a great lap robe for an elderly person (longer than that may be a safety hazard if they tripped over it.)

When I ordered the blanket, I ordered the darker pink one, believing that it would be kind of a rosy (lipstick/blush) pink sort of color. Instead, I got a much lighter, almost neon-salmon kind of pink. This was a purchase for my daughter, whom loves EVERY shade of pink, ugly or not, so I didn't worry too much about returning it, as she fell in love with it, even those it wasn't my preferred pink.Before washing, it really was the softest, most cuddly awesome little blanket. My two year old absolutely LOVED it, as did I. But being as it was new, I decided to launder it, so she could ya know, safely snuggle in its softness. Well, I guess I didn't read enough of the reviews or the pay attention to the drying instructions well enough. I SHOULD HAVE taken it out and allowed it to HANG DRY, but instead, I left in a dryer with a few other little blankets. Big mistake. Even though it was on medium heat, ti ended up "melting" and the fibers are all hard and crunchy.So, now I'm stuck with a hard blanket that's in an ugly color.I actually wanted to order MORE of these in bigger sizes, but in a different color (like gray or blue) because it was so soft and amazing. Perhaps I will... but if I do - it's hang / lay flat to dry for every wash from now on... js.

So this blanket is super super soft. I bought an off white, a creamy winter white. It was wrapped with a ribbon, so it could easily be used for giving as a gift. I purchased the largest size, and it is big enough to go on my Queen bed, with no real hang off. It looks best, folded at the bottom of the bed.Either way, this blanket is so VERY soft. I have a penchant for blankets, and have dozens. Most are fuzzy, but this one really is top of the line. I have not washed it yet, but did put it in the dryer to kill any germs and things like that.A tip when washing though, wash on gentle and cold, and hang dry, if possible. It stays softer longer.

I’m awaiting the arrival of my YokiePoo. This blanket was the perfect addition to my puppy area. There is a wall plug by the crate. Until I can figure out how to cover it I’ll use this blanket. The product is amazingly soft, well made and seems durable. I’ll be sure to provide an update soon. I just might have to buy one for myself it’s just that soft and cuddly.

I ordered a few of these small blankets in different colors as baby gifts. The colors I ordered were as shown here. I was really impressed with how soft, thick, and plush these blankets were. They were good quality and the recipients of the gifts told me how much they enjoyed the blankets. I ended up ordering a few of the larger sizes for our couches and beds. I was just as impressed with how soft and thick they were. The one issue I had is the picture of the dark purple blanket that's called lavender, is really pink. We were surprised when it came that it's really a light pink/purple but definitely more pink.

I ordered a "White" Blanket but when it arrived it was cream/ivory as pictured. However, it was so luxurious and fluffy I just had to keep it. I bought it to embroider for my new granddaughter with a cute little elephant design as pictured when I made one previously. However, due to the colour of the blanket, the colours of the design weren't right so I had to swap it for a different one. No matter. Sadly the blanket is so thick and fluffy the stitches sank despite using the water soluble stabiliser on the top. But my daughter loved it anyway so I am happy. But it shouldn't be listed as white.

This is a gorgeous baby blanket ,so soft and cosy warm ,got the middle size one and its just right .Lovely lovely blanket
