I recently upgraded to the Shimano Xt Cs-M8000 Cassette and have found it to be a great addition to my bike setup. I like the fact that more rings are combined which spreads the load on your freehub when you are cranking. My old SLX cassette had individual rings that were cutting into the freehub body. Time will tell, but I see this cassette lasting many years to come.

Ditched the 2x10 for a 1x11 worked out the ranges I had using the two front rings, with a single 34 up front and the 11-46 at the rear I really did not lose much in between. The 46 t is massive but if you want a really good crawling compromise on 1x set up this is the way to go. Paired it up to an XT mech and shifter, took about an hour set it all up and like most Shimano stuff once set simply forget. Works perfectly and even changing up to the 46 is as effortless as the rest of the cassette. Just pay attention to the B screw spacing.

I replaced the factory 3x9 gear set on my Specialized Camber with the Shimano XT gear set. The system works great, and the cassette gives me the ability to use my preferred pedal cadence throughout its gear range. At 71 yrs young, I was afraid I wouldn't have the legs to spin anything higher than a 46 tooth for climbing. I was wrong, and should have gotten the 44 or 42 tooth. But with a 33 tooth crank ring the gearing is just right. The XT system is fantastic and easy to install and care for. Typical Shimano quality which I personally recommend.

I've always used XT grades for my bikes, prices are very good for someone who rides but don't have the budget for very high price items

Put this on my mountain bike with a sram 11-speed derailleur and with a quick adjustment it worked perfectly.

I'm running the 11-42 on my other bike with a 34t chainring. I wanted to run a 38t chainring on this bike to get me a little more top end speed. I picked the 11-46 to offset the 38t. Worked like a charm. In low it feels like little old ladies with walkers may pass you at any moment but there isn't a hill steep enough that you cant power through.

Componente de la gama xt. Viejo conocido de shimano. Ya sabía lo que compraba, buena calidad que con la oferta se queda a un precio muy competitivo. No queda claro que combinación es, en mi caso me ha llegado el 11-40 tal como se anuncia en la descripción.

Montata su bici Gravel con cambio GRX 2X11 (meccanico). anche se da specifica Shimano non si può montare più del 34 al posteriore, il 40 funziona avvitando tutta la vite del B-gap. Si perde, forse, un po' di fluidità sul rapporto più piccolo (11) a causa della maggior distanza della puleggia ma si recupera sulle salite ripide con l'uso del 40. A mio avviso indispensabile perché i rapporti di serie sono troppo limitati!

I bought this to drop the gearing on my 105-equiped 11 speed touring bike. With a Wolf Roadlink it worked straight away with a mid-length derailleur. If you fit 11 speed MTB cassettes to road hubs remember to fit a spacer as well - from memory 1.85 mm, but check online. Other hanger extenders are now available; if you google 'derailleur hanger extender' you should be able to find a perfectly good one for about £5.00. The roadlink is a lot more expensive. Suntour make one as well. I think they are both available on Amazon. Overall, a cheap way to adapt a road bike for touring and very easy to reverse.

Entgegen der Angabe Shimanos ist es möglich eine 2Fach GRX di meist bei 11-34 endet, funktioniert die 40er XT Kassette bei mir (und vielen anderen) 1a. Qualität ist XT typisch. Amazon war wieder zu schnell mit der Lieferung. Gerne mal ein Tag länger, dafür die Arbeitsbedingungen anheben.
