RegattaMens Matt Lightweight Jacket

The jacket looks great - bought the Oxford Blue and Black version. It's warm enough to wear in Autumn with just a T-Shirt and not feel cold , and also is waterproof in showery weather - have not worn it in heavy rain to date . My issue is that if you do anything more exerting than a brisk 10 minute walk , then the inside of the jacket (and consequently one's shirt) is soaking wet , due to the fact that the fabric is not breathable. I am not a "heavy sweater" but if I wear this jacket for more than 10 minutes I need to change my shirt and also turn the jacket inside out when I get home to dry it off - which rather defeats it's purpose. A shame because it looks good (but so does a chocolate teapot I suppose)

Light weight, windproof and waterproof and well made and stylish. After a positive first review I have had to reassess my original comments. The jacket I thought was perfect turns out to be incorrect. As this product is not breathable the jacket will cause you to sweat and moisture will stay inside. Your arms will become very wet which is not a good idea if you are out walking as you will be wet when you need to be dry. Don’t waste your money on this version but go for the version which is waterproof, windproof AND breathable. You should then have a jacket suitable for anything that nature can throw at you. I’m afraid that my jacket will have to be sent to the charity shop.

We have brought Regatta before and great quality and built to last and this jacket looks like its going to be the same.May come up slightly small than we expected if you want to where jumpers or sweatshirt I would suggest going up a size.Although for my husband it was perfect we purchased a size small although his other jacket was also a small from regatta but longer and that came up bigger. As he only wanted a light jacket for the summer so will not be wearing thick clothes underneath so this was the correct size.I would recommend this jacket if anyone want a light summer wear jacket this is well worth the money.We purchased the red colour and was very pleased.

This product is not a breathable material, I was wetter on the inside, literally, sweat was running out of the sleeves like a waterfall, I know I sweat, but really this was an uncomfortable experience, I only had a tee shirt on underneath the jacket and I had to wring it out when I got home, I would not recommend this product, it might be waterproof on the outside, but not on the inside, I only put 1 star rating because I could not submit the review without choosing a star rating, but I would not even give it the 1 star rating.

I liked the look of the jacket and was t disappointed when it came. Was a great fit and comfortable and definitely gave protection from the rain.The only issue I have with the jacket is that it isn’t as breathable as I d like as it does tend to make you sweat.So whilst your trying to keep the rain out it acts as a sauna on the inside.

Good fit. However as stated by another customer the arms are sweaty. I took the jacket off and my arms where moist, it was raining but 12-14 degrees. The jacket is heavier than I anticipated. However when the temperature cools to 4-5 degrees along with rain it will be worth it's money.

What do you buy a son who says he doesn't really need anything.. that awkward age! Well.. he just started a new job so I thought he could do with a new rain coat. But... he's a big bear of a man. I searched for extra large chested coats and this one went up to his size plus a bit for a jumper underneath. He hasn't complained so I guess it's doing just fine.

Very good quality especially for the money, husband said it’s light weight but gets rather warm due to the inner coating, but great for watching football in the colder months without having a puffy jacket which he doesn’t want being a larger man with a 58” chest .. fits perfectly
