Excellent all around cleaner!
I've had great luck with this brake cleaner for all kinds of uses besides cleaning brake parts - transmission pans, transmission parts, cleaning greasy engine parts, you name it! Never a greasy residue. A couple hints, make sure you always wear gloves when using this stuff, and beware of the fumes brake cleaners can put off when burned or when used for weld cleaning operations. I believe chlorinated brake cleaner fumes can be lethal if burned. I've had many cases of this shipped by Amazon, and only once did I get a case that had a dud (empty can) that looked like it blew out during shipping.

Easy to use and works
Decided to buy these in bulk as I work on my vehicles for most routine maintenance. Other brands just don't last as long, nor do they have a nice straw to use that easily snaps back into the lid after use. I've used other Gunk products, i.e., to clean my engines, and they worked really well. Worth the extra $$, but it'll save you down the road.

Works well to clean brake discs on my Yamaha FZ6R
Never used a brake cleaner for last 19k miles, now I know what I was missing, the sleepy brakes woke up on my fz6r after a clean and wipe of the disks. I also tried to clean rivets on my floating disks - refer Delboys garage video on youtube

Melts nitrile gloves.
I am a mechanic that uses brake cleaner for nearly all repairs. I use it to clean off my hand tools when completing a job, cleaning parts, ect. If your looking for a brake cleaner that will clean parts, this one does a fair job. Nothing special but as good as many others for the cost. I purchased the Non-chlorinated for a reason, and this brand does not meet that criteria. It will melt the nitrile work gloves that I wear when working. So it's not for me but it may be fine for you.
