I bought these for my newly installed windows so I could avoid buying dowels to limit them from opening completely by an intruder while still getting cross breeze airflow throughout the house. They stay securely into place with the rubber grip and two thumbscrews, yet easy too move, resecure, and remove. This is exactly what I needed and has provided a good sense of safety so I can keep my windows cracked open at night while sleeping.

The material is great and very straightforward design, Works really well and makes me feel more secure when there on the windows. Sturdy as well they wont break. Worth the money I believe for window safety.

Very sturdy and compact little locks, I have the old-timey single pane windows and it has a ridge on the bottom for me to connect this onto. I used to just drill a hole and put a screw in but this is a bit less DIY so looks better while still giving me peace of mind. The 2 thumb screws are really easy to use, wish they were different shapes as clearance to the bottom of the windowsill is problematic. Definitely recommend it if you are in need of window locks and tired of using the drill and screw trick.

I bought this to secure my widow from opening from my 2 year old. Attaching it to the window is pretty easy and handy but when it comes to strength, it was not as strong as expected. I tightened the two screws pretty tight but my 2 year old somehow was able to unloosen it and bring it to me. Maybe my strength is not enough but need to secure more tightly.

Amazing product, being a woman and traveling alone it helped me to feel safer. Truly recommend it! It's very easy to install and uninstall, also if you want to make sure it'll be even stronger you can line up more than one in the rail.

Bought these to lock my windows a quarter way while running the whole house fan. Have to keep tightening them and not to sure they will prevent anyone from opening the window if they try to get in since they don't really lock well. Even tried using pliers to tighten them but still doesn't hold in place if you force the window open like a burglar would do.

I was used to leaving my windows open at night. Now that my bedroom is on the first floor I did not feel safe. But these really stop the windows from being opened I am able to get the fresh air all night long.

i wasnt happy with the product ..as it was too small and doesnt fit the railing... hence i needed to return it..but there is no option for return at all.

This is a cheap and effective way to secure sliding windows as it clamps onto the rails and is fixed into place by the 2 screws. No tools required and serves the job well. However, the black rubber is not attached to the aluminium bracket and separates easily so didn't end up getting used at all. If you have tall windows you will need 2 of these (one at the bottom and one at the top) to fully secure the window.

These are great in theory, but just so-so to use. I highly suggest soaking the rubber pieces in boiling water for a few minutes before installing. They metal part fits super snugly, so I had to use a mallet for installation. If you install these on windows that you regularly open/close, they’re actually a real pain in the butt. I’m seriously considering returning them for a better, more convenient system.
