Great support for swollen legs.
My husband recently had a knee replacement and he had to wear these for several weeks. I ordered extra so when he showered he could put on a clean pair. He continues to wear them due to vain problems that make his legs swell. These have done great. These help him until he heals from his knee replacement and sees the vascular surgeon.

Couldn't be Without Them
Really help with my poor lower leg edema after ankle fusion. They're the only reason I can still be on my feet all day at work. They keep swelling to a tolerable level

Good compression socks.
If someone has a shoe size of 13, may want to purchase XXL as the XL is too hard to put on.

Did the Job
Husband needed a replacement pair. These were the exact same ones the hospital sent him home in after hip replacement surgery. Difficult to get on, but they all are. Used a plastic bag over foot to get them on easier then pulled the plastic bag off through opening in sock.

Compression socks
After a hip replacement surgery I had to wear these for over a month. I'm glad that I don't have to wear them anymore, but they did exactly what my doctor wanted. Good choice, fast delivery.

Just like in the hospital
I like these compression socks primarily due to the open toe flap. The flap allows me to put on and take off my toe wedges/cushions without having to remove the sock. I typically put a thin ankle sock over it when I want to keep the compression sock on when dressed and wearing shoes. I will buy them again.

Improvement over older socks with hole on the top.
I agree these socks run a bit small. I bought 2X, I am 6'1" and 250#, and they we a little tight vs others I have gotten in the hospital. I wear 2X in Doc Miller, for instance. The sock itself is more like a tube athletic sock. There is not a pronounced heel. The heel per se is a woven square that fits over the heel. The underneath "open" toe area is far better than socks with the opening on top of the big toe. If they were tad larger, I would have given the socks 5 stars.
