When I received my BRK wallet, it was in VERY used condition and the sealed manufacturers packaging open completely. The aluminum on the wallet was filthy dirty and the aluminum was even pitted (this means it was wet for an extended period of time). It looks like its a used one that was returned. I would steer totally clear of this item. The merchant was BRYK. I'm not sure why a merchant would try and pass off a used item as a new one, but they did.I've decided to trash this item, I don't want to send this back and promote the cycle that this merchant is apparently in; re-sending out used items as new ones. I'm still dismayed that BRYK would send me a wallet that has been in someone else's pants pocket for such a long time. The dirt and grime that has accumulated on it is astounding. I spent quite a bit of time cleaning it up, but, its also very cheap looking and has a lot of plastic. I think I'm going to step up and buy quality, from a quality company, on the next purchase. And I WILL NOT being buying it from Amazon. I would NEVER recommend BYRK for anything in the future. This item is not only low quality, but unsound, and unhealthy.And, not to beat a dead horse, but who in their right mind, would send out a totally used item, that was in someone else dirty pants pocket for so long, that the aluminum was corroded? I look at this as a health issue. I know one thing, If I get sick from touching this used item, I will be sending the hospital bill to BYRK. Its so filthy and grimy its disgusting. Apparently, after reading more reviews, others have noticed that their item seemed used as well.BYRK, I sincerely hope you change your business practices. And, as a dedicated Amazon consumer, I hope they cancel you from the Amazon website, for the sake of Amazon's reputation, and the health of its customers.I got a replacement for this item. Simply search Amazon with the following text: Elixir Aluminum Credit Card WalletI'm sorry if this review seems unprofessional. But, if I really spoke how I felt about this merchant and this item, it would never be published.UPDATE. I got an email from BYRK stating that Amazon was sending out ones where the packaging was opened, but that they were still new. HOGWASH! They don't get filthy dirty from that!

Designed to hold plastic cards and not much else
I carry a briefcase during the academic year, and it is heavy. In my off time, I like to lighten my load, but I don't have lots of plastic either (quit using credit cards). You can get some folding money in this thing, but if you break a $20 for a can of soda pop, better plan on pocketing the change. Also, the plastic accordian slots that hold your cards have tabs that are just folded up and tucked behind the last slot in the back, so it is possible to un-tuck these two tabs just by pulling forward on the last slot, and re-tucking them is no fun. I had a fake patent leather wallet that was just a bit thinner than the BRYK, but it was longer (or wider, depending on how you're holding it). Actually, it was 5.25" x 3.5" x .75". It could handle bills and cards and even a few quarters and pennies. I worried about having it pop open, but a thick rubber band or a thin pocket could have solved that, if it had ever happened. It didn't block RFID, but oh we'll . . . .

POOR CONSTRUCTION, but GREAT SERVICE
Horrible Product, Very Good Service.I had a Shark for a few years and I wore it out. So I purchased the BRYK, thinking it would be the same. Wow was I wrong!!Opened up the box and as soon as I took t he celophane off the wallet, I opened the wallet. Then I closed the wallet and heard a SNAP. The small plastic clasp broke off and now it was useless, was able to keep it closed.I was sent a survey soon after this happened, and I told them about it. They responded to my email Immediately and sent me another. Few days later I received another. Opened the celophane went to open the wallet being VERY CAREFUL and i heard a very small "Ping" on the floor. Noticed immediately the one side of the hinge was now coming apart. Looked down at the floor and I was very lucky to find a very small metal pin, which I picked up and slid it into the small hole at the hinge. It Worked! So I made sure the pin was seated with a Jewelers screw driver (very thin).Carried it for exactly 7 days. I was at a gas station, when I opened the BRYK wallet and noticed the pin was lost again, the hinge was apart. When I got home I also noticed the cheap aluminum cover was Warpping and bending up. There were several dents in the cover as well. ALL THIS JUST AFTER 7 DAYS!?What Amazed me was their service. I recieved a 2nd email from BRYK asking me if I received the 2nd Wallet. I told them what happened and send photos to them as well. They said that they were experiencing a "bad batch" of wallets. They also said that they will send me a 3rd free of charge.I do not recommend this wallet at all. Unfortunately their Service group was extremely nice and responsive.

Bryk Delivered a Brick
This thing is thick. It's thicker than two of my cell phones stacked on top of each other. Imagine a 3/4" chunk of plywood in your pocket. Why so thick? If you need that much room, get yourself a briefcase.That said, the product has the following positives:* The fan out card slots are great* The weight is light* The clasp is secure, seems it would last a long while.But why so thick? Now I want to return it, but Amazon will charge me $5 for shipping (because it's my mistake, not theirs), and that's a third of the cost! So, eff it, I'll just keep it. Let my kids play with it.It also arrived a little scuffed on two corners. One of them rubbed out. I guess someone else tried it and returned it. This company has a great idea, they just need to offer a half-inch thick product. When they do, I'm in.

neat and light
It is a very useful item. Guards against cloning of your bank cards. Very handy and fits inside pockets. The catch on the side seems a bit flimsy and don't know how long it would last... otherwise - it is very good.
