So Gorgeous Volumizing Powder

I really hate leaving negative reviews but, I was SO disappointed with this product, I just want to make sure no one else is when they purchase it. I, personally, cannot live without volumizing powder and I have tried many, many different brands. I have very fine, limp hair (think infant) and this type of product is the only thing that will give me any kind of lift. I have tried expansive brands, cheap brands, and this is seriously the worst, by far. It gave me no lift whatsoever but still added that gross, stiff, dry/wet feeling. I'm totally ok with the gross feeling that comes with volumizing powder as long as I'm seeing results but this only made my hair untouchable with a piece-y texture and still fell flat, pun intended. It also left a white residue which I had to brush out because it was so obvious. I will definitely never purchase this again, opting instead to spend just a few more dollars on something that actually works.

I'm amending my review, because when used correctly, this really does work, or at least it does for my hair.No, it doesn't give me GIANT hair...which I'd love, and which I've seen on Youtube vids in realtime with other brands of a similar type of product. So one star off for that. On the other hand, what I have to work with is very, very, very thin hair. Not thinNING, I'm not losing hair, I just never had a lot to begin with. My ponytail circumference is tiny.With that said, I wear bangs, and this really does lift the hair behind the bangs up so my hair isn't just lying flat and stringy against my head. The trick is to use LESS rather than more. Sprinkle a TINY bit more if you feel you need it and keep going until you find your sweet spot.I use it in my center part, then down one or two partings on either side (underneath), then one or two partings at the top in the back. If it falls a bit I can put my fingers into my hair, and the voodoo magic comes to life again and I'm no longer flat-headed.It does feel icky and tacky. No way around that, that I can see.
