This book pulls together the first part of a classic series from the Eighties.Everything has been "re-mastered " to a wonderful standard.The colour, crispness and "feel" of the book is magnificent.This is NOT a flick-through story - it is complex, needing you to concentrate on the words AND the pictures.But both are worth the effort.It also adds several pieces of ephemera from various sources which support the central story.So - Caveat Emptor - the main story is only 50-60% of the page count; and this is the first volume of the story which just hangs at the end. So far as I know there is no collected version of the remainder.Having said that, this is probably one of the most innovative, beautiful, intelligent graphic stories out there.And it's funny too!
