Yummm love birds custard!

Instant custard that really has a good flavour. Very easy to make with just boiling water as opposed to the one made with boiled milk (which maybe will turn out good - often gets lumps in it). The price is getting a little out of control. They are very inexpensive in England.

Disappointed in this custard mix. Not much flavor. I tried adding vanilla and sweetener, still too bland for me. When made according to directions it is very thin and watery.

Wish it didn't have so much sugar in it, I would love it if unsweetned.

It's instant, it's thin and runny and not much flavour. So, added 1/3 less water to 2nd packet. It was similar to the original texture but the taste is still not there. I won't bother using the last packet. If you miss your Bird's custard my advice is to get the original in a tin and take th time to make it yourself!

I love this stuff!! I buy these easy to make packets instead of the canned powder. Just add boiling water and stir it up!! The canned custard powder is really good as well, I'm just lazy.

If you're like me - a tad lazy - this is so quick for a last minute addition to apple pies etc., I usually add some cream too - another item not available outside the UK - so it's like being a kid again!
