Wild Lettuce 50 Seeds (Lactuca virosa) Heirloom - Non GMO - Open Pollinated

I do not have a green thumb but following this advice gave me positive results with these seeds. These are very small, very hard seeds. My first attempt at germinating failed. I had tried my normal method of leaving on a plate in the sun between damp paper towels. Result: 0 (zero) seeds (out of 22) germinated. Luckily, I read the reviews here and saw one that I followed for a second attempt. Method: - Freeze seeds overnight - Soak for 24 hours after that. I did NOT put them back on the plate in the sun. I had purchased this ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B6BB4TVC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) for germinating seeds and I had great success this time! I had 4 out of 5 of the growing 'pots' germinate using 3 seeds in each 'pot'. I have not tried germinating with the paper towel method again. This system and these seeds work great!

I had great germination. Wild lettuce seeds are typically difficult to get to germinate because they’re so small and they get blown away very easily. I planted them in a garden tower and I turned the tower so the pocket was facing the house and protected from the wind. So the seeds are quite viable and a good quality. My seats are still young so I’ve yet to harvest any.

Seeds arrived promptly and I've planted them and they have started to grow. I can tell they are exactly what I ordered. I look forward to watching them grow bigger and stronger. It takes allot longer for them to grow in normal day light so I think i will try a LED grow room. Can't wait to harvest and process them. I forgot the first time I ordered these they didn't sprout. Second time, same result. I got simply medicinal seeds that sprouted in 3 days. Save your money. They won't grow.

I finally planted and tried it! Lambs Quarters. I would have cut it out like a weed until I read about it. Picked the leaves, washed them well and cooked them with a little salt, pepper, olive oil and season all. Wow!!!!! I will add chopped bacon bits next time, but it was superior to my garden greens and spinach. That’s just my experience! I don’t eat a lot of greens or spinach but when I want greens, it will be wild lettuce! I will save and freeze a few batches and replant next season!👍

Followed directions and the seeds produced many plants .

Left out two stars because honestly I haven't sown them yet. The packaging was in good condition and they seem to be viable seeds. that's the only reason I left out two stars.
