Ubbi Stainless Steel Diaper Pail, No Special Bag, Odor-Locking, Cloudy Blue

It's the perfect height. I love the stainless steel material. I can't notice any odors when closed as the seals must work very well. Great value for money. I was so happy with this product that I bought another one for the other bathroom.

As a grandparent of two small, wonderful, waste-excreting children, I love this diaper pail. Our grandson and his parents lived with us for the first 8 months of his life, and we tried another brand of diaper pail. The other brand had special bags inserts, and we had to fit the bag cartridge in the pail (luckily not often), cut the bags and tie them at each end (these latter two steps occurred several times per week). It seemed non-intuitive, and since we purchased the Ubbi pail in October 2024, shortly after our granddaughter was born, we realized our assumptions were correct - it is totally non-intuitive, inefficient, aggravating and illogical. With the Ubbi, you simply use normal garbage bags. Additionally, the pail is the coolest looking one on the market. It controls odors quite effectively, and looks good doing it. My son and daughter-and-law had a pail like our first one, and it had become so unusable for them that they were just throwing used diapers on their entryway floor (thankfully in the little purple bags to seal them - still fairly disgusting, but not completely cringe-worthy) and taking them out each evening to the outside garbage. I bought them a Ubbi pail which arrived today, and they were pleased with the utility of using normal garbage bags and were excited to put the sharp looking pail in the entry area, thus severely diminishing the grossness of the area. These are absolutely fantastic pails. If you’re in the market, do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and get an item that functions efficiently and effectively and which truly looks almost decorative in comparison to other diaper pails.

Works great for order control. And is nice/looking. But regular trash bags can tear open if they're too heavy when changing bags. Real nice diaper pail though.

It's a great diaper pail. We were using it for disposable diapers initially, and it kept the odor in and it was great because we could use normal trash bags in it. Now it's holding cloth diapers and doing a great job of keeping the odor in and it holds a washable liner really well. It's also pretty cute, and that helps a little with all the diaper changes. It also locks, which is great when you have curious dogs, who want into the bin.

This diaper pail works as described. It traps the odors really well and You don’t need to purchase separate diaper trash liners, so that’s a plus. The color is nice and it doesn’t look like an eyesore. I just wish that the hole to push the diapers through was bigger and that it was taller so that you could really maximize the 13 gallon bags. It would also be great if they were able to offer a step can version so you don’t have to touch the handle. They offer it in a wide array of colors, no need for special bags, it’s sturdy and keeps the odors in. So overall, it’s a yes from me.

The best. They hold the smell in and you can use whatever trash bag you want! It’s a good size to hold a lot the diapers without taking up so much room. The lid slides easy and locks into place.

We got one of these to replace a diaper genie pail. My wife loves it, but I have to admit I don't understand why. She insists it smells less than the diaper genie, which is true except when you open it and it smells much worse, and so the bag has to be changed three times as frequently. And as for the bag, we're using tall kitchen garbage bags in here, which is fairly easy to use, but feels very wasteful as they only get filled up about 10% before we have to change them. Also, on the few occasions when we filled them up more, to maybe 50% capacity, we found it very difficult to remove the bag afterwards as the mechanism around the top forces a bit of a bottleneck to pass through. A smaller bag size seems like it might've worked better, but we never found anything that seemed appropriate given the height of this. All that said, there are some great aspects to this pail as well. It looks nicer than most other options, it really does do a great job of keeping the odor in while it's closed, and it feels very durable. The locking mechanism works well enough, although it doesn't take a toddler long to figure out how to unlock it himself! If it weren't for the price and the wastefulness of the bags, I'd be more of a fan. But as is, this wouldn't be my top choice.

Pros: - Can use any large enough bag (instead of special bags) - Traps the smell very well! - Cleans easily - Easy to open and close - Lock is helpful when baby starts moving around - Pretty for a diaper pail Cons: -It can dent if you're really rough - It isnt big, so you have to empty it often (every 2 days for us), but that's probably for the best! Overall we like this a lot more than the other one we have. It does a better job of keeping in the smell without fancy bags and it is aesthetically pleasing, as well!
