The best turtle in my world
Sun Turtle worked right out of the package! It's very bright on high and even on medium. The low setting makes a bright nightlight. May consider getting these as Christmas gifts for the grandchildren. I wish it came in more colors.I haven't tested the duration of a charge, but it seems to be holding its brightness after only 2 charges since my receipt 3 weeks ago. I am little concerned about the fact that the battery is not replaceable by the purchaser; this could make this a short-lived product.In conclusion, I love this turtle, and I love to "play" with it.

Three setting. Five stars.
I bought this light for my toddler's room. Since he didn't like sleeping in total darkness.What's wonderful about it is that it has three settings: the brightest one lasts 5 hours, the next one 14 hours and the one I use 150 hours!So with one charge, in which I only left it outside all day, I can have around 10+ nights of light. You can't beat that.The design is pretty good. Even the packaging is convenient. Instructions are easy and clear.Pretty good product!

Nice little portable light.
It is easy to hang ithis in a window with the handle feature. Decent light with three adjustable powers. Portable and comes with a stand that likes to tip over but is also good to help place the light in the sun at the right angle. All in all I would recommend it.

Very disappointed
Bought this item because of its excellent reviews but was very disappointed. It's DOA. Battery won't charge after the solar panel was under the sunlight for two days and the battery indicator showed the battery was dead. Tried all levels of brightness, no light at all.

love this thing you set it in the sun for a while then you bring in doors or your tenet and you got a light a nice bright light at that plus it has a stand so you can position it any where great product

I'm in love with this little gadget
I'm in love with this little gadget. I waited to test this in the environment where it should be tested: thirty miles away from the nearest town, in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, with just my backpack and shoes as companions. It was a week long camping trip and this little gadget kept me safe and happy at night.In my opinion, these are the things that set this gadget apart from other solar powered flashlights:1) This is LIGHT. I'm an ultralight camper and this is by far the lightest solar lamp I've ever encountered in terms of its lifespan. One of the reasons I've stayed away from these before for long hikes is because they're heavy and bulky. I'm so glad the technology has finally caught up and we're able to enjoy these little gadgets on the run!2) It's easy to charge. With other brands I found myself having to hastily set them out to charge whenever stopped for food or rest-- or otherwise, tie it to my gear and hope to hell it won't fall off. SunTurtle has a nice little loop that's easily clippable to your backpack with a carabiner. If the sun's out, it's charging while you're walking.3) It's easy to use. The bottle thing really does work. Personally, I don't take bottled water with me on long hikes, but I found an oddly formed stick did the same thing. And on shorter hikes I will be taking the little stand.I was provided this product to do a review and was honestly skeptical based on my experience with these in the past... But this really blew my expectations and says great things about the future of ultralight backpacking equipment and survival gear.
