Amazing young woman
Morgan's story is powerful. My niece recently diagnosed with T1D and her doctors and family endlessly involved and supportive. But this book by someone who is in her peer group is invaluable. I bought it for her. She read it in a day. I read it too. Morgan's strength , kindness, humor , mind boggling knowledge and perseverance is to be applauded in her story and incredible writing of it. It should be recommended by every pediatric physician diagnosing and treating young T1D patients. She is so relateable . So genuine. Excellent and inspiring in so many ways.

Great for anyone with T1D - and anyone overall to see that they 'Actually Can'
I've been introduced to Type 1 Diabetes through work, and was thrilled to read this book to learn more. If you know anyone with T1D, it will help educate yourself and be more understanding. More so, Morgan gives an inspirational story of going through something life changing and showing how she dealt and overcame the challenges. And does it on a daily basis. It's written in a fun/casual style that keeps it entertaining. I see how she was inspired by Ellen DeGeneres's book! (as she shared in her book).

HIGHLY recommend
"Actually, I Can" is a truly inspiring account of the highs and lows of a life with T1D. Puns aside, Morgan's story is one that should truly be read by and can benefit all, not just those with Type 1. It not only informs as to the true nature of Type 1, but her witty and sarcastic humor also entertains, making the book fast paced and enjoyable. Morgan's determination, perseverance, and genuine heart makes this story a must read for anyone and everyone!

Inspiring, funny & well written.
I would recommend this book for newly diagnosed type one & type 2 people with diabetes, gestational diabetes and type 3C which is when diabetes is due to pancreatic disease. Morgan is funny and self described as sarcastic. She doesn’t pull any punches. She just lays out the truth of diabetes for her in her world, for better or for worse.

for anyone who knows a person with type 1 diabetes or their family
diabetes is very tricky to control and to educate people about. I am a nurse practitioner, I wish books like this were required reading in health class. The author, will help you and your child navigate your way through a bright and happy future. Enjoy
