Sorry but this book is dry and boring. It's like a college text book. I recommend do not buy this book. No maps, no pictures of any type. All chapters are just 1,2,3 ..... It would have been nice if the chapters had been labeled for example Chapter 1 Magellan, or Chapter Spanish, Chapter Americans. or Under the front listing of Chapters some description.Look for other history book.

You learn about the colonization history of the Philippines, specifically from Spanish colonists. As you read the the 17the century, you can see other influenc such as the Chinese.
