What are you using it for as it's thin but very nice

Can this be cut safely with a 10w diode laser?

Sorry I don't know. I used a stanley knife & it cut cleanly with no glue residue stuck to the blade if that helps.

Can you use metal dyes on this felt

You could use it with metal dies, but you may have fun removing the backing from it.
