I have just bought a new tap and am having to cut the 15mm water pipes. Is this what I need to connect the pipes from the tape to the water pipes?

Yes it’s just a case of marking the pipe with a pencil to make sure it’s fully into the fitting by pushing it in the twist the coral clockwise to fully tighten the fitting. Make sure you loosen the fitting before pushing the pipe fully in. I’ve used these fittings for years they’re by far the best
