Stubby Pencil Studio Eco Highlighter Pencils - Set of 6 Jumbo Size Neon Colors - Bible Highlighters - Wooden Highlighters Will Not Bleed or Dry Out

I really like the idea of eco-friendly!However the color highlighter pencil peels very solid almost as if the ink in my Bible is being smudged off.It would be great to improve the solid color highlighter to be softer/smoother.

I am SO HAPPY with this product! I have been using a different neon highlighter pencil for many years. I'm a freelancer in publishing and my work requires extensive use of highlighters. I can't stand the amount of plastic that involved, and I'm chemically sensitive so I had to be very careful to get mostly odorless highlighters. I have been using the Caran d'Ache highlighter pencils for years, but these Stubby Pencil Studio pencils are my new go-to. Here is my list of why:1. Soft. This pencil goes on easily and I don't have to press down so hard. I have longstanding repetitive stress (RSI) problems in my arms, so this is a huge boon-- I get the swipe I need with less force and fewer strokes.2. The outer surface is unlacquered, plain wood, so it has some "grip"-- this also helps me with my RSI, and it feels really good in my hand. The pencil housing is just as "fat" as the other ones I'd been using (the lead itself is just slightly narrower, not a problem), which also makes it comfortable for long sessions. And, the fact that the pencil itself is not lacquered means that it is EVEN MORE ecologically sound.3. Cost and availability. These pencils are less expensive than the others I was using, but I'm happier with the product. And, I can get them easily. The others were hard to find.4. I love the range of colors. I'll be buying the 12-pack of the yellow for my general use, but I use other colors for various coding in the work I do, so I'm very happy with the selection. (yay for purple!)5. Sharpener. It's great that the seller also sells a good sharpener, but I'm glad I was able to buy my set without it, as I already have two. Definitely need to be able to buy the pencils without acquiring more and more sharpeners. And yes, these pencils do require the larger type of sharpener opening, not the standard pencil size.In general, highlighter pencils are far superior to traditional highlighters and I don't plan to ever buy another one of those. We all know that plastic pollution is a serious issue for our world, and that VOCs (the molecules you're breathing in from the liquid ink) are harmful with constant exposure that adds up from various environmental sources. I don't have to worry about keeping it capped, it doesn't dry out, so there is a lot less frutzing, which also saves wear and tear on my arms.I'm jazzed about these pencils.

Love them! Came in eco-friendly packaging and they even included a rainbow pencil as a free gift. These actually work better than some of my plastic highlighters since usually I can’t use blue or purple because they’re too dark and bleed through. But with these, I can use all six colors so I can take my color coding ocd to the next level. It also came a day earlier than the estimated date. Really great quality product and the only truly eco-friendly highlighter that I could find in my hours of searching. I’ll update if this isn’t the case but it seems like they’ll last for years and years vs. my traditional plastic highlighters that all dried up and my frixion bright and frixion pastel highlighters that dried up after less than 6 months. Also bonus points for supporting a small business trying to make the world a little greener. 10/10 would recommend.

I bought these highlighter pencils because I use highlighters regularly for work and I wanted to reduce my plastic consumption and waste. And, I was willing to spend 4x what I usually pay for highlighters. But, I was quite disappointed in the packaging. The pencils were in a bio-degradable cello sleeve - great! But that sleeve was inside a plastic bubble wrap sleeve which was inside a larger plastic bubble mailer. Amazon, you can do better!!

I like being environmental and these highlighters are an easy switch. I am currently using up all my plastic highlighters (which have little plastic pieces that are extremely hard to recycle). These pencil highlighters work great and even comes with a wooden sharpener. The way the pencils are originally sharpened make my highlighting streaks thin and hard to see. The darker colored pencils are a little too dark and the yellow is a little too light to notice. I just have to get used to using this product. Would highly recommend, but be prepared to adjust. Might need to go over your highlighted word a couple of times or apply more pressure to visibly see

I order these for the guys in our Estimating Department at work. They REALLY like these!! We have been using/ordering them for quite a few years now.

They work great. Obviously not as bright as a plastic pen highlighter but completely worth it to avoid the toxic plastic. I use these at work and love them. I would recommend them. I have used them for a while and haven't even sharpened them yet. Appreciate they came with a cute wooden sharpener. Plan to order more if my kids need highlighters for school.

I use these pencils highlighters for my Bible and and they do not bleed through like the felt tips. The color material is crayon type but transfers to the paper more like pencil. The only downside I have experienced is with the yellow and green pencils that are very pale and hard to see even after several layers but its still worth the fact they don't bleed through. For the price they are definitely worth buying.
