## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this product made with Nylon or Polyethylene?**
A: I think it is polyethylene, but I don't know how to tell the difference! I've been using this stuff for years and it is very effective protection against the dreaded Cabbage White butterfly, but make sure the fine mesh is not touching the leaves of your kale etc; I use drilled golf balls on canes. Fred.

**Q: Would this keep Scottish midges out?**
A: Yes, but you need to be careful when fixing as you can disturb the fine weave

**Q: Can you tell me where this is made**
A: Nothing showing plain bag

**Q: What size are the holes**
A: Tiny. Like a fine muslin mesh. You could probably filter soup with it. No insects are getting through it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal protection for plants
*by S***G on 6 June 2026*

Brilliant for fruit bushes or if you have an allotment and need some protection from pests or bugs this is for you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mesh
*by M***K on 10 July 2021*

very fine mesh but edges unravelling and a lot of catches meaning gaps , not easy to work with as mesh is unstable, would be a lot better if the edges or even 2 of them were bonded or hemmed

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong fine netting
*by A***C on 29 September 2020*

We've got a huge fern style tree in the garden & as bits of it dry & die off the leaves & twigs fall below & make a mess, tried other netting but nothing seemed to do a decent job. This stuff is really fine & works a treat, seen others mention it ripped or tore easy ? not had any issues at all. Easy to cut & secure beneath the tree without tearing & feels pretty strong, tough stuff. Great for putting over the potted plants & beg patch too for keeping the pesky insects off.
