Q: What exactly is the "cooling cover"? Is that the same as the Tencel?

Thank you for your inquiry. The Cooling Cover is a different cover than the Tencel, and is only available on Juvea.com. The JUVEA TENCEL™ Lyocell Fiber inhibits odor and pathogen development without compromising comfort. Their natural pulp cellulose fibers create a luxuriously soft surface that is safe for even the most sensitive of skin. The open knit cover promotes airflow throughout the material, cooling in the summer and warming in the winter. Moisture-wicking fibers help pull fluids to the surface, where they evaporate easily, rather than settling into the fabric. The JUVEA cooling cover is made with bonds in the fabric preventing heat absorption while simultaneously pulling heat away from the body to allow for a cool, restful night’s sleep. -The JUVEA Team

Q: Why do they include a plastic cutter? I got two pillows, and neither needed cut open. One had the cover off, and one had the cover on? What is normal?

Thank you for your inquiry. We include the opener for a quick and easy way to remove the plastic compression bag from your pillow without damaging the pillow. Most of the pillows are shipped with the pillow cover already on the pillow, except for the Organic Cotton covered pillows which will have the cover separately in the box. -The JUVEA Team

Q: Can I wash the latex pillow?

You can’t wash latex pillows in washing machines, and because they’re anti microbial, you hopefully won’t need to as long as you leave it in the cover it comes in and use a pillow case on top of that. You can wash the removable cover and spot clean the pillow. I’m not sure what you can use to clean it. I’ve just read that they can be spot-cleaned.
