It worked
I have an ops-core AMP headset that hooks straight up to my ops core fast ballistic helmet and I wanted to be able to use it in civilian helicopters.I purchased the U174 downlead from ops-core but I only had audio and wouldn't pick up comms, in conjunction with this little cord, I got comms as well in our R44.No need for the military to civilian cable in this instance.

Did not work
I used this to go from my ComTac V headset to a Peltor PTT to a BTech MURS V1 radio. The plug did not fit well into the PTT, the base was too wide and the jack kept slipping out. Even with a tight connection by keep hand pressure on it, I could not hear anything in receive mode, and the most I got in transmit mode was a hint of static on the other end. I switched to a proper amplified PTT (Disco32), and got clear Tx/Rx on both ends, so I know it was not either an issue on the radio or headset end.
