Buy it before you need it
Honestly the patch was easy to install, and the tire is holding air. Granted I am being hit up by Amazon to rate the transaction the day after I received it, so I have no long-term experience with this product. The instructions are easy to comprehend and follow. Everything in the kit functions as it is supposed to, as in the sandpaper actually works and doesn't fall apart when you use it to scuff the tire. The glue and applicator tips work as intended. I think it took me about 15 minutes in total to make my repair and I took my time and read the instructions, prepped the area, glued the slash, prepped area for actual patch, applied glue to TIRE, and then applied the patch holding it for 30 seconds to ensure bond. It stated to wait an hour before filling, but I waited overnight since I wasn't in a rush. I have no doubts that the repair would be solid in 1 hour, heck it would probably be ready in 15 minutes. I inflated my tire and checked for leakage around the slash repair, and no leaks were found. It was a positive experience. It is a simple product with a straightforward process that I feel didn't require any special skills or tools besides an air compressor. You get 4 patches in the kit I purchased, and I feel like I got a good value with this kit.

Follow the instructions and it won’t fail you
Excellent product, works amazingly well. Got a used set of Goodyear MT 35s but one had a tiny puncture on the raised sidewall tread. The patch went on great the first try and is holding strong after many off-road miles.

Works in a pinch, overpriced.
Discovered a long gash in the sidewall of our SUV. As I went to put the spare on, I discovered that we had no spare. With the hopes of avoiding a tow to the tire shop I purchased this. The patch held long enough to get us to the tire shop. Probably gonna keep one of these in my car from now on for emergencies. My only gripe is how expensive this product is. It’s literally one tube of super glue, an applicator, 4 little rubber patches, and some sandpaper. All in all, maybe $5 worth of stuff. I could see charging $10 or even $15, but $25 is way overpriced. But again, it was cheaper than a tow truck, so I can’t complain too much.

Great
I used this on the rear tire of a 46" deck riding lawn mower that had a inner sidewall puncture from a piece of field fencing. Very easy to apply, durable patch material and after curing, no more leak! Fantastic product.

It really works - Regular Car Tires
Someone slashed both front tires of my 2007 BMW 750Li side walls (each about 3/4 inch long). Followed instructions on the package and really sanded the puncture area extensively (made sure the puncture area surface all sanded and even). Applied the glue first on the punctured cut and then applied glue droplet using the narrow adapter provided with the kit (25 droplets per square inch). Placed the patch and pressed on it for about a minute and let it dry for about 3 hours.Tested both tires with soapy water and there were no leaks. This morning drove the car to HomeDepot to run chores and drove back (about 10 miles round trip) and had no problem at all. Will post additional feedback as the time goes on. But what I can say now is that this product is really amazing and it really works. Great product.UPDATE #1: It is almost a week after fixing the tires. No pressure loss of either two front tires as of today (27 Feb 2024). Drove about 20 miles round trip today and had no issues with the repaired tires. So far so good.UPDATE #2: Both front tires started leaking air after about 10 days. It appears that it is not a long term solution for fixing tires. Ordered more GlueTread glue only (pack of 3 for $6) and replaced a patch on on tire and re-glued it again and peeled of a part of second patch and added more glue. Will update again after a few test run.

Slows, Does Not Stop, A Leak
I had a clean slice in the sidewall of my zero-turn's tire. Followed the directions of the item exactly:Deflate tire. Clean area with soap and water. Sand the area to make sure the rubber is clean of any contamination and increase surface area for glue. Apply glue to the inside edges of the slice, and then press flat. Lay a patch over the area and trace with a marker. Inside the traced area, apply small dots of glue in a grid pattern. (More glue is not more better! Use less!) Apply the patch and hold firmly in place at least a minute. Walk away for an hour and re-inflate the tire.I still heard a hissing sound.Directions say if that didn't fix the leak, pry up the edge of the patch with a pair of pliers where you see the leak, and apply a touch more glue. Apply pressure again for another minute. Walk away for a half hour, and try inflating again. I re-inflate again. And still have a hissing sound.I tried inflating again just to gauge the air loss. Two pounds in an hour. While sitting completely still on my driveway. Could this patch let me keep using the tire and keep mowing? Sure. Do I feel like stopping every so often to top it off as I mow 11 acres? Absolutely not.
