AFTER MY OTHER SET OF PHONES DIED I SAW THIS SET AND THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THEM. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME BUYING AT&T AND I LOVE THESE. THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT AND HAVE A LARGER DISPLAY MAKINGIT EASIER FOR ME TO SEE WHAT I AM DOING. THEY WERE VERY EASY TO SET UP WITH THE EASY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WITH DROPPED CALLS OT HEARING STATIC ON THE LINE. I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT NICE CLEAR HONE CALLS. I LOVE THE SPAM BLOCK TO KEEP THE SPAM CALLS FROM CALLING ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. SO FAR THE BATTERY LIFE HAS BEEN GREAT. I REALLY FEEL THESE ARE GREAT QUALITY AND THE PRICE WAS REALLY FAIR. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THESE AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I purchased this AT&T cordless phone set for home use on a VOI phone system, and to replace an older set that seemed to have strange noises during conversations. This newer system has much better sound quality, probably limited by the low-end VOI system I use. It is pretty easy to set up and use, and functional for our needs as a home phone. I have only one complaint about it. It seems to 'think' we live in another time zone. I've reset the time many times, but within an hour or so the time was always 1 hour ahead while we were on Daylight Savings Time. But now that we're back to Standard time, the phone time is 2 hours ahead! Though I wouldn't be surprised if the time is being reset by our VOI carrier.

This was a good handset purchase as an add-on to my base-unit. I added this handset to my AT&T DL72240 model base-set, even though this DL70019 manual does not have my base unit as a a compatible model for this handset, it was registered with the base unit as easily as the two handsets that came with the base unit. All the features on this handset were the same as the two originals that came with the set, and they all work great. If you own a DLL72240 Base unit, this handset works with it just great;registers easily on the base unit. I hope this helps those who own a DL72240 and want to get a handset or two as add-ons.

I'm tech savvy. I thought that when I read reviews about not being able to connect to Bluetooth that this would not be a problem for me. I was humbled. I have an Android and an iPhone, neither one will display the AT&T phone in the pairing list when pairing mode is enabled. I restarted all the devices, made sure I have the latest software updates, nothing is working. I called the 800 number listed in my order details for customer support and they don't support physical devices; said I would have to take it into a store. This is a real bummer.

Added 6 8 21 I have dropped this item from 5 stars to three. The voice quality is still good. I dropped one star as I said I would becasue the date and time have to be re-set every time the power flickers or goes out. It would have taken a small battery or a capacitor that would probably cost less than a dime to have this not happen. I dropped one star because the directions for adding listings to the directory no longer work. They never worked as printed in the handbook, but I had made a note to correct the part that did not work as printed. (On page 37, if you follow the process in item 4, you need to press Menu/Select to store when you finish.) That whole process no longer works. If I follow the directions, ADD NEW ENTRY never appears. All it offers me now is the option to replace my first listing. I can add an item to the directory from the Caller ID, but this is not my usual choice. Here is the original review Our former AT&T phone system lasted 12 years and died due to a battery swelling up and destroying the system. We had had to go to third-party batteries because AT&T had quit making them. However, this one has a bit more volume and even better voice quality than the EP-5995 it replaced. This was the main feature we needed, and that alone was enough for me to give it 5 stars. I also appreciate that the contacts only have to be entered on one handset. They then populate across the other handsets. The setup is indeed tedious, but we managed it. Some users say that the date and time will have to be re-set every time the power goes out. If this proves to be the case I will come back and take off one star. I will have to dig out the manual to re-do this. It would have taken only a little bit of engineering and a coin battery to make this unnecessary, and I know it will be a big issue for the many people who got this phone and set it up for older relatives. The message waiting light is indeed dim, although other lights on the handset and base are bright. The labeling of the rocker button on the handset and the base is really hard to see, another issue for the older people who will be a large part of the market for this phone. Thankfully, this model moves the handset Call Block button to the bottom of the phone from the middle of the rocker switch, where it would have been much too easy to press while trying to increase the volume (and thus blocking calls from someone the user probably wanted to talk to). This was an even bigger "gotcha" for an elderly person with vision problems. The new location is not great, but it is better.

These are very good phones. They are very clear. No static. sleek look with nice sized display. The numbers light up in light blue. The volume is great. No problem hearing the person you contact or contacts you. These are keepers. Thank you for such a good product. I had a rotary phone by AT&T in the 80's and it was the best phone I had ever had then. Good quality

Replacement terrific ..first ph needed to be replaced base didnt sound tight all static an didnt pk.up incoming calls some got through but I am in process of returning first phones tomorrow the 18 th. New phones work as advertised ATT has improved the quality and pleasantly surprised thank you

Esta es la solución, por culpa de una familiar que nos dejó de referencia, marcaban buscandola del banco a todas horas y todos los días, simplemente fuimos agregando los números cada vez que marcaban, puedes bloquear hasta 1000 numeros, de tal manera que un día simplemente de tanto que los bloqueamos en efecto dejaron de llamar, toma meses que esto suceda pero lo recomiendo al 100%. Las demas funciones muy bien es un telefono de buena calidad.
