I bought this blanket from my son over Six years ago and it is still here keeping our toesies warm. lol. My younger kid enjoys it as much as his older brother did and they use it to play pretend as well as on cold night when watching TV.Finn has ripped after three but was simple to sew up. The quality is great. The material is soft adorable and it’s absolutely adorable. Definitely a gift gift that keeps on giving

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon but I really liked this product so I thought now's the time. I bought this blanket after my son saw an infomercial about something similar. This is my penalty for too much screen time I guess... He immediately asked me for the "fish blanket", and normally I'd say no and move on. But recently, my son has been refusing naps at preschool. He walks in and tells the teacher at the beginning of the day that he won't nap and that she can call me to ask me and that I'll say it's ok. After receiving a talking-to by said teacher, I realized that I needed to find a way to get him to at least try to nap in the afternoons. I figured that having a cool blanket might do the trick. Amazon didn't let me down, and not only do they have the fish blanket like the one on TV, but they have this awesome shark blanket which I of course bought because sharks are clearly cooler than fish. It is really soft and it holds up well after washing. It fits his little 4-year-old body just fine, but a taller kid might have trouble. He took it to preschool and success! He now sometimes naps! Due to the fact that he's a tiny dictator, I'm fine with this partial win. So this blanket has made my son a more normal person on the few days of the week that it works and he actually gets some sleep. As such, I highly recommend it.

It’s a fantastic blanket / tail . I’ve been looking for one forever and the “boys” ones always look very cheap no matter the price tag . I’d recommend this blanket and blanket brand to everyone. The price is extremely fair if not cheap for the quality and it shipped faster then was estimated. This looks amazing, is super soft , very large in a good way , washes and drys fantastic, and looks cute on the back of my couch. The only problem I can find is my son has to fight my tiny dogs for who gets to use this soft blanket.

10 y/o son asked Santa specifically for this @ Xmas. It's good quality material. Bought Adult size. @ 4'10" it hits his shoulders. Being 10, he was running around in it 24/7 stuffed to gills w/ I think every plush he owns whole winter break! Poor shark was abused but held up quite well !Would suggest maybe bit more length because 1 more growth spurt & will be too small. Also a stronger stitching,because did split seams @ fins (but seriously was a 10 minute fix). We're getting $$$ worth!

This was a "replacement shark blanket" for a different one (different brand altogether) that turned out to be waaaay too small, even for my 7-year-old nephew. I'd ordered one that claimed to fit a teenager, and all of us were disappointed in its lack of size! I was skeptical ordering this one, but when it came I was beyond satisfied. Not only is it big enough to use as a blanket, but he can crawl around with it covering his entire body with room to spare. He uses it as a blanket/costume, and he loves it! His father has even put it on to pretend to be a shark, at it was roomy. It's just great. If I had an complaint, it is that there is no dorsal fin, only fins on either side, so it does not look like a true shark, but it definitely resembles a sea predator, and that is enough for us.Plus, it's very cozy, a soft, plush, easy-to-the-touch material. This was a great find.

I bought this for my 10 year old son for his birthday. I was worried that it was a weird gift, as right now all he's really into are nerf and airsoft guns and legos, but when he pulled it out of the bag, he had a big smile! He immediately got into it. It completely covered him! He uses it every time he sits on the couch and he even uses it in his bed. It is super soft and appears to be well made. It's had daily use for two months now and still looks brand new. He's even taken to his friends to use as a sleeping bag. I would definitely recommend this. It makes a great and unique gift!

Unfortunately I had to return the blanket before my son could use it. Bought it for Christmas and my son was so excited to use it. So before he could, I took it out of the bag, removed the tag, and right before I put it in the wash I inspected it and noticed two, 1 inch holes in the seam.Cute blanket, super soft, but clearly it’s poorly made. Wanted to repurchase, but the item is no longer available. Kind of upsetting.They need to be made to holdup to young children.
