Got it to power a couple of LED strips - does so with EASE. Precise color I was expecting which tells me there's plenty of power in the power supply to go around. Thinking of adding another couple of LED strips - will see if that makes sense with this power supply, but for the two I have it's working just fine. Thanks!!

I have purchased this lighting system and installed it myself and it is a great system with fantastic product support. I at first bought the wrong driver for this type of LED light strip that is solid and chasing and the company reached out to me on their own to let me know I purchased the wrong driver and gave me the info for the right one and ordered it. I just returned the wrong one once it came. Even with warranty issues they have responded and taken care of what’s needed. I don’t think you can ask for more than that in a company. Great product with great service to sum it up.

I have an old car stereo amplifier that I was playing around with in my garage. I hooked it up with some speakers and a sub then powered it with an old 12VDC 2A adapter that used an EI transformer. It worked but the output was kinda weak, it needed more current. So I got a Me*n W*ll smps adapter with higher current. That was pretty bad, you can hear the switching freq. bleed into the audio. So finally I got this one. I was hesitant as first, fearing that the switching freq. is within audible range. Anyway, my worries were quelled after I hooked it up. It was as quiet as the old EI transformer adapter that I was using, but with more current to really bring the amp to life. The switching freq. is probably above the audible range or they have excellent output filtering, or both.

I bought to experiment with a WLED powered led matrix. As I was working above my knowledge level, I purchased one too powerful for the controller in the same order. The vendor reached out to verify my purchase, which allowed me the time to purchase the correct power source before burning out the controller . Thanks!

Works great for my LED lights. This is my second time buying this product, very happy with it and works great. I recommend to everyone who's looking for a good power supply.

I ordered three of these to power light strips off some dig unos and the only problem I encountered was one of the barrel adapters that comes with them wouldn’t work. I ordered a replacement from another company and it worked fine. All three run every evening for a few hours and are still going strong after 4 months.

This power supply is a step-down transformer + sense coil buck converter topology with a current mode UC3843 controller chip. It's a bit old-school, but more than capable of the 120 watt rating. Great price considering the product I received. The only gripe I have is that the flexible epoxy application and solder joints are a little messy, nothing terrible though.
