Piece of junk. I am not hard on my stuff and it just fell apart. Lightning connection end literally came out of cord. Only had for a couple weeks.Update: Customer service just emailed me and is sending me a replacement. These days you can't beat good customer service. I didn't email them they just saw this review. I have adjusted to three stars for this reason in hope the new one will live up to previous reviews and more stars from me.Update: It has now been a while since i received the replacement cord. So far so good. I would buy this product again. I am confident that if didn't work like the first time customer service would remedy that. Having said that the first cord was prob just a rare blemish on this company. Thanks again to the seller I appreciate the good customer service and will think of you in the future.

I've had the product close to a month now for my iPhone7. It works, but has issues. Make sure you plug in the charger side first, next plug it in to your phone, and last plug in your headphones. This order has proven to be the most trouble free, but it's really annoying that I have to follow this order. Also, when I plug in my headphones, I get an error message "Accessory Not Supported". It still works, but shouldn't do that. If I don't follow the order, sometimes the headphones don't work or it won't charge. It's possible using the button on my headphones to pause music causes the charging to stop, but I stopped using the button on my headphones and tap the screen instead. If you're willing to put up with all of this for the price, then go for it. I'm pretty sure the 100 other companies selling the exact same looking item will have the same issues. Read some of those reviews.

I have used this cable for a few months to charge my iPad Air. Yesterday, I plugged it in to my IPad which was at about 20% capacity. A few moments later I picked up my iPad and the connection plug was as hot as a pan on a hot stove. I IMMEDIATELY UNPLUGGED IT, and will never use it again. I have used numerous 3rd party charges with varying success. I finally broke down and purchased original Apple Cables and plugs. The chances of them doing damage to my IPad is one thing, but overheating is completely unacceptable! I am a burn survivor, and even the possibility of an electrical cable overheating and possible worse is 100% NOT WORTH IT! I shopped around to make sure I was getting authentic OEM Apple products. I am done with third party charges. Just wanted to warn fellow Apple users. Charge safely. Peace, Kris

I liked that this product allowed me to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time. At first, it was literally the best product in the world because it fulfilled my desire to listen to music and charge my cellular device at the same time. However, it broke very easily. As you can see in images #5 and #6 the piece that connects to the lightning port on my cellular literally disappeared. It somehow fell off and it then made it very difficult to charge my phone and listen to music simultaneously. It did not last long at all, and now I DEMAND A REFUND AND A NEW ADAPTER.

I purchased this in October, I needed something to charge my phone overnight AND listen to sleep sounds to drown out my husband's snoring. Like many other reviewers, I had issues with it from the start. If you don't plug it in a certain way in a certain order, you get an error message that "this device is not supported" by your phone (I have an iPhone 7.) It was annoying but it still functioned so I just dealt with it; first world problems amiright? Fast forward to December, and this thing just decides to crap out completely. The charging side still works, but it no longer recognizes the headphone side. When you plug it in and play music, it plays through your phone speakers rather than the headphones. I learned this the hard way when it decided to stop working in the middle of the night. Needless to say, I didn't sleep that night.Also, the item I received looks nothing like what is now pictured for this product. Perhaps they realized they were selling a bad quality product and redesigned it?

I would give this zero stars if I could. I bought one each for my boys, out of those two one broke first use, so I returned and replaced with another. Got it in and once again first use it broke. The connector part is not well put together and when you remove it from the phone it stays in the phone.. you then have to use needle nose to pull out the broken piece. They accepted the return for first one and not second which really ticks me off.
