We wanted to take our kitten on walks and keep her safe. We purchased this pack for her, it came on time and actually is more sturdy than we expected. It folds up for easy storage. Our kitten went into the backpack right away, we hooked her in using the attached line sewn into the pack. It does not come with a harness or collar so you need to purchase your own. She loves that she can see out. She can get all of the good smells since it's mesh. We started out with her completely zipped in but now roll down the top and let her hang her head out and look around. She loves it so much she runs and jumps into it at home when she wants to go for a walk. Sometimes she even curls up in it to sleep while at home.It's comfortable to wear on the back but a little bulky to try to wear in the front. We love it!We all love this product. It seems very sturdy where it should be, supports her well, comes with a fanny pack to carry any items you might need like her leash or pet potty bags. Definitely one of our better purchases. Price was right. It's everything we needed in a catpack.

I bought this carrier so I could ride my bike to my Vet clinic as it’s only a minute or two ride from my home. My sweet senior cat LC (17 years old!) is well behaved and I normally don’t use a carrier because she just hangs out in my arms. As a non-carrier cat LC had no problems entering and exiting this carrier. She made herself comfortable and I love how the sides and top flap of the carrier can open. The backpack straps are sturdy, and can clip in the front with a buckle. It was comfortable to wear while riding my bike, didn’t slide around or bend under the weight of my cat (granted she’s a tiny tiny old lady of 7lbs).Overall exactly what I wanted and was looking for in a carrier! My only suggestion for those purchasing would be to put blankets or something warm for your animal if it’s cold out, as all the walls are mostly mesh.I also love the Fanny pack / waist pouch it came with. It’s the perfect training treat pouch for a dog!

Everything about this cat backpack Is perfect! I put it on the seat of my walker so I could take my cat with me! I am 84 and cannot carry on my back but it would be perfect for carrying your pet! Sturdy net sides and front! Heavy zippers, well padded straps, strong clips for holding whoever needed!I can't say enough good things about this pack! It can be faced front or back with the net openings on a seat! very good price! My cat settled in the first time with just a few meows! Just open a little and pet her and she was fine!Buy it!

This is a great price compared to the other cat backpacks available. I took my 9-year-old siamese girl on a walk to the mailbox (around the block) and back with it to test it. At first, my little Khaleesi seemed understandably nervous as she probably worried we were making a vet trip as we had recently gone for her wellness exam. When she realized we weren't getting in the car and continued walking on, she settled down and I could see her just looking around via her shadow. I took a peek at her and she looked more relaxed and happy and gave a little meow in greeting. We got to the mailbox and made the 2-3-minute walk back home. When she got out, she didn't run off scared.Pros:-Easy to use, good accessibility -- unzips on both sides and on top-lightweight and folds up nicely-Mostly stable with the kitty carpet insert (my girl weighs around 12 lbs)-Well ventilated and kitty can see all around, enjoying the sights-Well-priced-Aesthetically pleasing and gender-neutral backpack-Spacious enough for most-sized catsCons:-If you have broad shoulders / a larger chest than I do (I wear US women's small and medium shirts for reference), then the chest strap might not fit you well. It seems kind of short but still fits me fine.-I couldn't quite get it to sit on my back just right and if I was going on a long walk, I could tell my back would probably get sore from it (Reason for the 4 stars). I will update this if I'm able to get the proper position. I also wish there was a waist strap as well.

I’ve had mine since Jan 2021 and I love it. It’s easy to store if needed. I use mine a lot and it’s still in great condition. It roomy enough for my cat and that was my biggest concern when I first got it since she’s a little on the chunkier side and I didn’t want her to be too tight but she has enough room to lie down and turn around.

Our cats do very well in this!! We originally got it bc we wanted to take them with us on our daily walks to the beach. Our two 2.2kilo kittens fit well together in it and while they fight us trying to get into their hard carrier, they don’t fight us when we put them in this. They seem to like the increased visibility in this compared to the hard carrier. I like that there’s a flap so I can reach in and soothe them when they’re scared (like when a trunk honked real loudly near us lol). Otherwise theyre calm in it and REALLY enjoy looking out the car window. It’s a little heavy when I wear them but my boyfriend (pictured) can wear them without any trouble whatsoever. It’s a bit clumsy on my 5’1” frame bc it’s comparatively large on me, but much easier on his 6’ frame. We love this thing. Our cats claw at the mesh sometimes (we leave it open at home to encourage their comfort and exploration with itand they sit on the flaps and scratch at them) and it shows no wear or tear. When they’re bigger we will likely get another so they each have their own.

This backpack is amazing! I bought a toy from amazon that's like a scarf organizer, and I use that as a perch inside. I've taken 2 cockatiels to the vet in it, and then 2 green cheeks. I wouldn't recommend any more birds than that. I even took my 2 green cheeks with me to get my covid vaccine!! (They had a vet appt right after) Super sturdy, and great air flow.
