Lucky Shot (The Montana Hamiltons Book 3)

Another very good book in the Montana Hamiltons series. Liked the two main characters. He becomes more impressive as you get to know him. She comes out of her shell with a little coaxing from him and they start developing a relationship. The other people in the book add a lot to the story. A good mystery is included with a few dead bodies here and there.

Lucky Shot by B. J. Daniels is the third installment in the continuing saga of the Hamilton Family of Beartooth, Montana. Senator Buckmaster Hamilton has decided to run for President of the United States. His first wife, Sarah, the mother of his six daughters has recently "come back from the dead." She supposedly had committed suicide twenty-two years previously by driving her car into a river, but reappears outside of Beartooth with no memory of the past twenty-two years. Many strange happenings have taken place since Sarah's return. The author treats the reader to much suspense as Kat Hamilton and reporter, Max Malone investigate clues to try to unravel the mystery of Sarah's missing years.B.J. Daniels is a real talent when it comes to writing romantic suspense. She certainly lives up to her excellent reputation in Lucky Shot. The characters are well-developed. The story line, with all the twists and turns, carries the plot to a satisfying conclusion while leaving enough questions unanswered to lure readers into hoping the next book, which will continue the Hamilton Saga, comes out sooner rather than later.

This is the third book in this series and this one is absolutely phenomenal!! This story will keep you riveted from the first page and keep you there until the very last page. It has everything you come to expect from B.J., romance, drama, and suspense. The epilogue in this story was one of the best ever, I can't wait for the next book. What a lucky shot it was for me reading this book!!

Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Can't wait to continue reading. Who will be guilty in the end.

This is a good romantic suspense story written by B. J. Daniels. She is an excellent writer and I always enjoy her books.

B. J. Daniels takes us back to Beartooth, Montana in Lucky Shot, Book 3 of the Montana Hamilton series and gives the reader everything they've come to expect from a B. J. Daniels book.Kat Hamilton wants nothing to do with journalist Max Malone however, she does want to find where her mother who was presumed dead has been for over twenty years. When Kat's life is threatened, Max is the only one she can trust. And, she's not sure she can trust him.There are some familiar faces here if you've read any of Daniels's Beartooth books. My only problem -- I picked up Book 3 first and now I'm back-tracking to catch up.

This book is about the deaths of the second wife, a reporter,two private investig would recommend reading this series in sequence. I am reading the books out of sequence and while they were very good, l would recommend reading them in sequence.

Gobbled this book up in a day and now onto the next in the series. Love the mix of romance and suspense.
