What Can I Do?: My Path from Climate Despair to Action Hardcover – September 8, 2020

Using her own activities as a framework, the author explains the connection of climate change to a lot of other issues. I have learned a lot and have been inspired to be more activist myself - thanks, Jane Fonda!

I haven't completed the book yet but it will provide me with some information that I needed.

What Can I DO? was an quick and easy read. Jane is a good , engaging writer. She summarizes the highlights of her year's worth of teach-in's -- which brought to the public some of the greatest minds in reversing or at least slowing climate change. As a senior citizen, one thing I can do is walk with my money and divest investments from polluters, fossil fuel companies, and find a bank that does not loan money to drillers, frackers, etc. I just spent the morning filling the suggestions in the book to research how I can do my small part.

I have always admired Jane as a great artist in her craft however I have a new respect for her as an environmental activist. Her bravery and stubborn idealism has made a significant effort to help save this beautiful earth for my grandchildren and beyond Bravo Jane!!!!

Combining reportage, interviews, and background scientific information, this book describes the Fire Drill Fridays developed by a number of environmental activist groups. These activities, started in Washington DC, were held weekly and included recorded, live streamed teach-ins, rallies and civil disobedience.Fonda brings together a vibrant coalition of Indigenous people,writers,celebrities and activists who combine their passion, talent and vision to the task of healing the earth.

I’m so fonda Jane Fonda! This book is full of helpful info on everything dealing with the environment.... well organized and a beautifully printed book. We did not buy the signed copy, but now that I have read and seen the book, I wish I had spent the extra cash for a signed copy. Thank you Jane for all that you are doing!

Truly a page turner. I was not sure what to expect but I am so happy that I am educated about the environment and the people that are affected so adversely by abusers. After COVID, it will help to find ways to make a difference.

I learned so much about the climate crisis on this planet. The book motivates me to become involved in the fight. Thank you, Jane Fonda, for your dedication, commitment, courage and action to bring awareness of this looming threat to our beautiful planet.

It is a thought provoking and hard hitting look at climate action and what each of us should know about the climate crisis. It also identifies real actions each of us can take to help stop further damage but emphasizes that immediate action is absolutely critical. It also highlights how the disadvantaged have and are at particular risk because of the actions of greedy and callous corporations.

Open your mind to free thinking. You will enjoy this book immensely.

What a fabulous book. Well written. A lot of information to process

This is a truly excellent book with so much information on what we all can do to stop climate change and save our planet. A book that everyone who values our environment and a living planet much read.
