I do not own a Samsung tab so not sure about the size or the fit. However you can purchase this for tab storage but that doesn't mean you should. This is not exactly meant or made for tablets and i think it's very expensive if buying in india paying the customs duty. I had to get this since there are no keyboard storage case option in the market (although not worth it for the extra price paid) but for your specific case i would encourage you to get a dedicated tab case. Amazon has plenty (i myself have one for my tab) and although they are not the same material as this one but still they are built more purpose oriented. Other than the extra cost (customs duty/tax) paid and the size/fitting concern, there isn't any other reason for you not to get this.
