Q: What metal are these? Almost none of them say what type of metal and 2 are gold. Do they need to be finished to work with?

They are made of high carbon/high speed steel (HSS). The "gold" is just a rust proofing coating. It would be a good idea to hone these on a diamond block before using.

Q: Does this set include the collets as shown in 6 of the images or just the gravers as show in image 4 w/o the collets?

Some be of these gravers are marked grs and yes they have collets but the Collets are not like the grs metal they appear ti be a lower quality they fit well though

Q: Is the one hss identification t code and the only tungsten id? the others are not t steel what are there id codes?

The HS or HSS marked gravers are high speed steel. Tungsten may be marked T or unmarked. Tungsten gravers are generally dark gray ir medium gray color as ipposed to hss which has a sulver shine.
