This is used to dry polish. It works best to avoid reds and other deep colors from oxidizing. It can be used on acrylic nails, my manicurist used it on one of her other customers all the time. She had a full set of non-real (acrylic) nails. Shellac nails have a specific dryer used to cure the nail color so this would be unnecessary I hope this helped. p.s. it's GREAT for drying toenail polish.

how do i know the color?

Hi ! there is no color, it is just a spray to help dry your nails quickly. I love this product, I don't have patience to sit and wait for my nails to air dry.
