FUTURA PRESSURE COOKER, 6 Liter, GRAY

Have used this brand for years. And this particular model is my favorite 😍

These Futura pressure cookers are practical , stylish and so easy to clean. I would not use any other brand or style . I have them in different sizes and they always make the most rich and tasty stocks , soups and casseroles . My kitchen would not be complete without one!

I have 2 non-induction Futura pressure cookers which are great, really, really great and look wonderful.On upgrading my hob to induction I needed an induction compatible model and was delighted that Futura make one, however it was ridiculously slow to heat even a small amount of water. It looks like Futura have machined out the bottom of the aluminium pan and inset a induction conducting disc which might have worked if it was flush with the bottom of the pan which it isn't.A great pity as I love the shape and ease-of-use of my other 2 Futura pans.

Item arriving well packaged but upon opening, the lid handle and other parts are full of scratches and stains. Appears like used before. Returning the item.

I am writing this review after having used the cooker for about 2 weeks. I'll sum up the pros below here:1. Looks stylish.2. Thick bottom (and also probably the quality of steel) ensures a relatively non-stick surface while cooking.3. Very little cook time required.4. Movement of ladle or your specific cooking gear used to stir the food is very easy.5. Pouring out of food very convenient! Unlike other cookers food does not accumulate near the rim of the cooker while pouring it out, which is very very satisfying for me.Ever since i got this cooker i have been using it for cooking almost everything for my family of 2 and food has never tasted so good!
