I just shake it off and lean it up against the chair to dry out after each shower. No problems so far, and I've been using for a few weeks. It is very soft and comfortable to sit on, but firm in that it does not give nearly as much as all the memory foam and other super soft options that just completely compress under normal seated weight and feel useless to me. It seems it would be great for others like me with disability, buttox/coccyx pain, back or sciatic pain, and is a nice large/wider size then many other padded seat covers or cushions I saw shopping. Great if you have a wheelchair or need for a larger chair like recliner, bench, etc. Love it.

Great waterproof pad for shower chair!
This item was unique in that it is waterproof when out of its covering case, so it is perfect to use on my hard and uncomfortable shower chair.
