Starting out it comes packaged in a beautiful black velour bag, which is a great first impression, but it gets better. The colors and workmanship on this rod is incredible. Every detail, from the handle to the guides is exquisitely finished. Definitely a pleasure opening up the package (which by the way came bubble wrapped in a cardboard tube with bamboo stick on the outside so it wasn't damaged). This rod is very thin and lightweight, which may lead you to think that it will not handle well with a bigger fish. Not to worry! See the picture posted of the red snapper caught and I put my 13 size foot right next to it for reference. Using a slow pitch jig, it grabbed it on the way down and it was a breeze to bring it up. The rod did bend as it should, but it did the job beautifully. I have all 3 sizes and they are the only rods I bring on the boat now. I am able to cover the whole water column and handle anything I hook. Would definitely recommend this rod to any serious fisherman. I’ve caught grouper, snappers, and jacks with no trouble. Would recommend this rod to anyone who is into slow pitch jogging. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/206052060-goofish-pink-66-195cm-saltwater-slow-pitch-jigging-rod-pe1](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/206052060-goofish-pink-66-195cm-saltwater-slow-pitch-jigging-rod-pe1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
