These are great! I plan events that sometimes have total darkness until "the big reveal"... and these are wonderful. I can still work inside the tent with enough light to see, but not so much that it will spoil the effect. I also got a set for my young granddaughter for walking home from the July 4 fireworks, or whenever we are in a large crowd with dim lighting. She can see the ground and still have her hands free to hold ours. She absolutely loves it! I wanted this brand because they use batteries. This way, I don't have to worry about charging them, and can just bring a couple of extra batteries with if I feel the light is getting dim. I have been using the first pair for over a year now and haven't needed to change the batteries yet. I am really pleased with these!

Love these lights. They are bright, and light weight. Built well, and Very versatile to wear around the neck, or above the ears for different angles. They also have a good adjustment range up and down for even more angles. They have a good price tag, but I definitely recommend rechargeable batteries, as they do only last a couple hours of continuous use. So if you use them constantly, you will be buying batteries very often.

This is a good product with a few negatives. Positives: Light can be used on either side or both. Light is very bright and the brightness is adjustable. The device is lightweight, but sturdy. Perfect for wearing around your neck. I tried the lights that clip on to your keyboard, but the light would slip off constantly. This design works much better. Negatives: Do not use the batteries included with the light. The included batteries died after 3 days. Use a good quality Alkalne battery instead. Much better light and lasts quite a bit longer. The on/off buttons are located in different places on the arms. The button is a circular outline meant to be pushed inward to change the brightness or turn the device on or off. The design makes it difficult to locate and use the button. Have to turn on the overhead lights to find and use the button. Overall, I like this device. Light is bright, easy to use and band is comfortable around my neck. The negatives mentioned, drop the score to 4 out of 5.

I received for my birthday . Haven't had a chance to use them , but I see it will be a big help at the moment..

My husband bought one of these locally at a higher price, and we were so impressed with its usefulness that we bought a couple for gifts at a better price on Amazon. The lights can be aimed at your work and then both hands are free to do that work. Great gift for anyone!

The included batteries are doing well. I just wish this was rechargeable

There are many similar lights out there, but this was the only one I could find that is not rechargeable. This is a huge plus. When my battery runs out, I want to be able to swap it in a second and keep working, rather than stop everything, look for a plug and wait for it to recharge. I wonder sometimes what goes through the minds of the geniuses who came up with the rechargeable light idea. It’s like they have never lived in the real world, never used a light for work or in an emergency situation. I am grateful I found this one. I like how it articulates with a positive click. I like being able to point the two lights in two different directions. I like how the buttons are kind of hard to push. This means I won’t turn it on accidentally in my toolbox as has happened many times with my other lights. On the negative side, I have to press the button twice to turn it off. The on/off switch also acts as a switch between the strong and the weak mode. Who needs the week mode? For what possible purpose? A simple on/off switch would be much better. I do a lot of plumbing and electrical work and this light is very helpful. No need to hold a flashlight in one hand and much more comfortable than a head lamp. UPDATE. After I had a chance to work with it for a few weeks, I realized how incredibly convenient this light is and how much it helps me in my work. I came back here to purchase one more in case I lose this one. The industry is unfortunately inexorably moving towards rechargeable lights and battery powered ones will be even harder to find. But the price has almost doubled, so I’ll have to pass. But I’m changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I’ll have to be extremely careful now to avoid losing it.
