How is the bass? does it hit hard where you can really feel it?

Will a Vizio TV connect to the speakers on the this unit?

No. The speakers will not work with any other system including Vizio TV. The speakers have custom fittings which will only work with the base unit. The speaker wire carries a load to power the speaker lights. The colored fittings make setup quite easy as each one is color coated to match appropriate plugin location.

I feel like it is. We are using it in a closed room and have to be careful not to turn it up too loud.
