Based on my research and then after testing this device, the eMeet Luna is the best bang for the buck out there on a speakerphone device. I like to use it plugged directly into the USB port on my laptop. No need to worry about the battery running out or wireless signal getting interrupted. But I love that if I want to go on the road, I can pop the USB dongle into the laptop and go wireless in just a few seconds. I also love that I can have this plugged into the USB slot and working with my computer while ALSO being connected to my cell phone via Bluetooth simultaneously! No need to switch. Just stays connected to both! Take a Teams all on my computer? No problem. Cell phone rings? No problem. Back and forth all day with no issues! Sound quality out of the puck speaker is excellent for calls. With the Bluetooth connection to my phone, I even played a few Spotify tunes. It is possible in a pinch, but it won't win any awards for music fidelity. Better to stick with a speaker made for music. Still, it's handy if you need it, maybe to play a youtube video or something. I do have Voice AI enabled but after testing with another party on a Teams Call (both of us had the eMeet Luna), neither of us can tell when the feature is enabled/disabled. I have a fan running in the background and regardless of the Voice AI setting, you can't hear it. The fact is, the noise cancellation seems to be good either way. The buttons on the Luna are very functional and well laid out. I appreciate having the call answer/hang up button. Also the large "mute" button right in the middle with the volume buttons on each side is very handy. The visual indicators for mute and volume level are also well thought out. The best compliment for the microphones (there are 3 arranged in a triangle) is that folks on the other side of any call think I'm talking into a wired headset. When testing with another person who had the Luna over a teams call, we both spoke free and easy in full-duplex (at the same time) and it was as if we were in the same room together. We both sounded great from a microphone pick-up / speaker output standpoint. I review products and write product review articles in my spare time. But I bought this one on my own and I love it! So I thought I would throw this quick and dirty review out there. Hoping it helps someone save some $$$. If anything changes in the long-term, I'll update the review.

I'm surprised and pleased by the initial quality of this speaker. I've been using Jabra products for years, and my conferencing is frequent so they get a lot of use. While I have no complaints about the function or performance of the Jabra line, they are not very durable. I usually have to replace them after a year or 2 at the most because they break physically - the rubber feet fall off causing vibration and buzzing, the touch buttons stop working, the real buttons break off, and the device is susceptible to scratching and breaking when handled roughly. This one has a very sturdy aluminum body and low profile buttons that seem like they won't break or chip when it's banging around in your laptop bag with all your other gear. The rubber feet are big and wide too. Of course time will tell whether it really is more durable, but my initial impression is strongly positive. The device works perfectly too. Bluetooth doesn't cut out and has good range, noise canceling works perfectly, sound quality is excellent both on my end and for the people listening to me. Battery life is very good, needing a charge only every few days even with very frequent daily use. There are 3.5mm jacks for both in and out audio, something I've wished for in all my other conferencing speakers because it lets you listen with your favorite headphones or use a nice lapel mic when you want to. The charge cable is USB-C. All of this at a remarkably low price point. I almost feel guilty! No I don't. Luv it.

Latest update: their customer service ream contacted me, and they are very responsive. Following their instructions to see if it will fix the issue. They said they’d refund or send a replacement if the instructions didn’t fix the issue. It definitely is a very nice, well-constructed product when it was working, so I definitely hope this works. Updated: The phone often doesn’t work. It’s made calls frustrating. That’s unacceptable. The build quality is great (aluminum, not plastic), and it looks nice. More importantly: so far, it’s performed exactly as needed. I have a lot of white noise going in my place, and would have to turn my various fans and ac off when taking or making calls. The voice AI (you have to enable the option) seems to do a great job filtering background noise, as no one seems to have had an issue hearing me. Also as important: I can hear the person clearly. Sometimes I’ve turned a fan off just to concentrate more on a call, but that was personal preference, and not a shortcoming of the speaker; it’s loud enough. For the price (around $65 at time of writing), it’s a great value.

In these times of lots of at-home meetings, I needed a speakerphone that would work with my phone, my MacBook and my Dell Windows laptop (yeah, I've got one of each in use). I initially hooked it up via the supplied 3.5 mm audio cable to my Windows machine, where it was recognized immediately (as a headphone). Input sound level was too low, but I opened the Dell Audio control panel and cranked it up (well, only to about 50%) and it worked without a hitch. I tried running it right next to a loud air conditioner, which it picked up but not overly so. I next tried out the "AI noise reduction" --- this dropped the air conditioner noise down to the point it was barely audible. Outside construction noise mostly disappeared with the noise reduction on as well. I then wanted to try out bluetooth connectivity, so hooked it up for a work meeting to my MacBook, which I use with a pretty big monitor, and doesn't do a great job of picking up voices when we're sitting several feet back. The Luna worked flawlessly -- no problems with BT hookup (and unlike some things, it connected quickly). The speaker is more than loud enough for a small room, and it picked up everybody on my side well. The Luna supports 2 additional features I didn't try - it can be daisy chained with other units in the same room, and it can be used with an external speaker if additional volume or a room sound system is required. Nice unit, and great for the money!

I purchased an earlier version of this speaker and returned it simply because the mic did not pick up well. The updated the speaker and sent me a free replacement thus making the customer service absolutely awesome. I tested this against the Jabra 710. The first BIG difference is price. Jabra 710 $300, eLuna $90. The Jabra is over 3X more expensive and for the price compared to the eLuna, I would choose the eLuna hands down. Speaker sound: Basically even. The Jabra has more treble and the eLuna more bass. Both essentially have excellent sound and for voice or music you would be happy with both. Mic: This is VASTLY improved mic on the eLuna from the original. I moved back about 15 feet from both units on a call and the person could hear my voice clearly while speaking in a normal volume. The Jabra was louder but the person on the other end could hear me clearly at 15 ft. From a distance I give the Jabra the edge. Background noise reduction: The eLuna has an AI noise reduction feature that works extremely well. I played music in the background and turned the feature off and on. It makes a big difference. In a noisy environment the eLuna has the advantage. Size: The diameter of the eLuna is about 1/2 inch smaller and the thickness of both units is about the same. I can't tell a difference in weight. Looks: The Jabra is better looking. It has a silver/metallic center and the function lights around the edge are far more impressive. If you want to impress and have a much bigger budget, the Jabra looks far more impressive. Conclusion: The eLuna at less than 1/3 the price is the clear winner. The performance of both units is about equal and in a noisy environment the eLuna has the advantage. I have 3 of the Jabra 710's. One for my office, one for the conference room and one that I keep in my notebook bag. If I could return the Jabras and get the eLuna I most definitely would. I could have gotten all 3 eLunas for the price of one Jabra 710 but at the time it was the best unit. With the improved mic on the eLuna, the Jabra 701 no longer has the performance advantage.

Hi all, I received eMeet Luna and promised to write an honest review here. I had previously purchased eMeet M2 which has been my primary speakerphone for several months now, I work from home and I use it on a daily basis. I have been very satisfied with eMeet M2, however eMeet Luna is a solid upgrade and let me explain why. In regards to look and feel, both are high quality products and have a nice design, however Luna feels more solid than M2, the main body feels like metal compared to M2 which feels like plastic. I prefer Luna's buttons compared to the glossy touch buttons of M2, they are more accurate and it's easier to keep them clean with no fingerprints. The red circle on M2 (when on mute) is more fancy and visible than Luna which has a single red light however it doesn't really bother me and Luna's implementation is more discreet. I also like the fact that the ports on the back are not covered on Luna and are easily accessible, you can see the difference on one of the pictures I attached here. Luna also uses USB-C which is a great improvement and has space under the device to hold the Bluetooth dongle. Unfortunately, Luna doesn't come with a carry case like the M2. In regards to the performance, I did all kinds of testing and comparisons of both devices under the same conditions and next to each other. Overall, I believe that the quality of audio input via the microphone is almost the same between the two, I didn't notice any significant difference and it is excellent. However, audio output is by far much better on Luna, more clear, more loud, more accurate and full in general. I have tested both against Windows and MacOS, using the USB and Bluetooth, both work great without any issues at all! Luna will become my primary speakerphone going forward and I'm super happy about it!

I've had this unit for only one week and have been using it as a speaker phone connected by Bluetooth to my laptop. My comparison is with airpods connected to the same laptop via Bluetooth which work flawlessly in the same environment but I wanted a speakerphone so I didn't have to keep wearing the airpods. Good: It feels like a well built unit and I like the layout and functionality of the controls. The Bluetooth feature connected flawlessly and immediately to my laptop which is situated about 10 feet from the speakerphone with nothing between them. When the unit is working well, both the sound from the speaker and my voice as heard from others is great. Bad: Unless I'm speaking within 10 inches of the unit, regardless of how it's oriented, my voice breaks up badly as heard by others and they can't understand what I'm saying. So essentially it must be treated like a standard microphone. This is probably the worst problem I have with the unit as it makes it unusable as a speakerphone. The speaker works well most of the time but sometimes has bad popping noises. You can still understand the conversation but it is really distracting. This never occurs with the airpods so I don't believe it could be a network issue. Finally, sometimes I place the unit on mute which works fine. However, I've had it refuse to unmute during a conversation for several seconds which is awkward. I looked to see if a firmware upgrade was available that might fix these issues but wasn't able to locate anything. Sadly, I'll be returning the unit.

Bought it. Love it. Recommended that several other folks buy it. So far, five other people have bought it, and thank me regularly for recommending it to them. It has these fantastic features: 1. Meeting attendees tell me my voice is crystal clear. 2. I can hear them EXTREMELY loudly and clearly. My wife asks me to turn it down because it's too loud sometimes. 3. The mute button is an old school mechanical button. Great for minimizing fumbling when you're trying to eiget on or off mute. 4. LED light indicators make it clear when you're on mute. 5. I've used this thing many times outside the house with the wind blowing HARD. I ask meeting attendees explicitly if they have trouble hearing me or if they hear noise from the wind, and they say "no. Not at all. You sound great!" 6. Battery lasts a long time. 7. It's Bluetooth. You can carry it around easily. Pairing it is a no-brainer; it includes a clearly-marked Bluetooth button. 8. It's less expensive than other devices. 9. You can hook it up with the included USB-C cable to your laptop if the battery gets low while you're using it. Stop cheating yourself. Buy one of these devices! You won't regret it! Nothing more to say about it.

Everything is good with this product, except MS teams integration. You can’t use the call accept button on the device to accept the call. You need to accept from the app itself.

Works great, crystal clear when on conference calls

Pairs easily with an iPhone with a push of a button. Subsequently it establishes a reliable Bluetooth connection each time the device is switched on. Hassle free, quick and reliable. Conferencing over Whatsapp audio and video calls is loud and clear.

AI feature works really well and voice quality is also very good

Tested the first day I got the speaker. Using it in cable mode, people on the other end, can hear me loud and clear. Even with Fan blowing behind me, w/o turning on voice AI, there is low to no enviroment noise. Have not tried bluetooth mode yet. Will give a feedback if have the oppty. Unit is heavier than Jspeak 510. I feel J510 voice clarity is just marginally better. Emeet luna is cheaper, has bluetooth connectivity, newer model. To me, the Emeet luna is definitely a better bargain for personal or small team meeting. Highly recommended.
