The Good: The knurled brass knob is easy to adjust and it holds the selected bevel pretty well. The Bad: the unit pictured on the Amazon page is obviously a carefully selected, prime example of this product, i.e. yours may not look nearly as good. Mine had sharp edges all around, and the brass trim pieces were not flush with the wood. I spent about an hour with files and sandpaper, and now I am pretty happy with mine, but not sure I would buy it again.

Have only had it for a few months. Got it to replace a similar one that was over 50 years old. Its not only pretty to look at, but its invaluable addition to any tool box which will be well used.

This adjustable "sliding" T-bevel could have been a great addition to my toolkit, if it weren't for the fact that the saw kerf in which the ruler is supposed to slide is so narrow that the ruler was jammed in tightly and almost impossible to remove, much less pivot or slide.This lack of attention to quality control is so prevalent these days that, sad to say, it is almost expected.You can be sure I'll be returning this item to Amazon for a refund.

Inexpensive but not sturdy. The decorative brass is glued on and the pieces fall off. Wood is rough and poorly finished. Not as nice as pictured.
