Romance

Rosa must had been lovely inspired when recorded this album . This time she comes with her known repertoire however her voice is so precise and soft in each verse and is followed by beautiful and elaborate instruments . The cd might sound slow at first , but if you let it play in full you will see how elaborate and sophisticated the cd is . She has recorded some of those songs before but now they come filled with rich instrumental solos . It's a record that you can put it to play in your room and let it go forever . You really get into the music and feel like diving or flying . So beautiful . My favorite 'Tatuagem' is really a musical journey . 'Eu sei que vou te amar' has a beautiful solo in the middle . 'Nem Eu' starts very slow but it will also have a beautiful arrangement thru the end. 'Alibi' and 'Por causa de voce' are something abnormal (lol) , so good they are . Rosa Passos must have the best players on her side , it's amazing what they do with their instruments. The whole cd is enjoyable and consistent . It couldn't be different when talking about Rosa Passos . Love her , and 'Romance' is a valuable gift for us .

I adore Rosa’s music, but this collection misses the mark on all levels. First, Rosa is an expert in the bossa nova genre. This disc is more jazz which I felt didn’t work. My biggest criticism concerns the background accompaniment. Her voice is doing one thing, and the musicians are doing something totally unrelated that doesn’t complement the song or her voice at all. I never made it through the entire CD. I kept hoping for it to get better, but unfortunately it never did. If you like Rosa’s style, stick with Amorosa and my personal favorite, Rosa, which is just her beautiful voice and her guitar. I have played it over and over and never get tired of it. This new one sadly will probably get tossed.

After listening her other works I found this collection of love songs to be wanting; not much substance and not particularly well recorded. It lacks what her other wonderful works have: sensitivity, feeling, warmth and sensuality.Rolando Arango

Rosa Passos has the most exquisite voice I've ever heard...but that's just my opinion. She caresses each word and the word becomes the music itself. Hard to describe...this is a must-have!

This is a very sensitive set of songs with a very cool chamber jazz backing. It doesn't matter if you can't understand the language, as Rosa Passos communicates on a very personal level regardless. Glass of wine, late night listening, perfect!

Rosa Passos es una de las grandes voces de Brasil, heredera (incluso para mi mejora) de Joao Gilberto con su voz y su guitarra.Este disco es simplemente, excepcional, precioso por doquier, con una interpretación de ensueño desde la primera a la última canción. Y la grabación es de matricula.Si lo compra, se convertirá en uno de sus preferidos para siempre.

ホーザ・バッソスは”アモローザ”を聴いて気に入って、５枚まとめて聴いてみた。　　やっぱり、最初に聴いた”アモローザ”が一番いい。　　どれも、それなりに魅力はあるけど、本作は、せっかくジョビンの曲、他、選曲もいいのに、　　あまりにも淡々と歌っているせいか、物足りなさを感じた。　　聴いていて邪魔にならない語り口なので、BGMがわりに流して聴く分には、贅沢かな？　　まあまあのアルバムということで星３つ。。
