The contrasting design detail makes it just a bit dressy, its low plunge neck works for sexy time or wear a tank top underneath to be bit more demure. The narrow empire waist elastic will allow any kind of belt comfortably, but is almost invisible if you prefer your belt lower. The length fell just to mid-thigh on me, good as dress for dancing or throw on pants, leggings or a skirt for more layering. Baby doll it with long stockings and Mary Janes, or tall boots. Really a great piece of clothing. I bought three different colors, and may need more... Construction is sturdy. I was disappointed that the tie/elastic was not adjustable by drawstring, but I can add that myself later. The sizing is a bit large. I usually wear a 16/18; Based on the sizing chart, I chose a 3X, but a 2X might have fit better.
